With all the excitement this list has garnered let an old christian...one who hopefully will be meeting his maker in 23 although I would love to see the elections and resulting riots of 24. Just depends on how fast this new cancer develops. Saying we are a christian is pretty easy. Being a Christian, a Christian that Jesus wants us to be is pretty dang hard. And truly to be a perfect Christian there is only one rule. After we fall to our knees to ask forgiveness of all of our sins...after we promise Jesus that we will turn away from our previous ways, that we will truly repent we are to do one thing, well actually two. We of course are to begin to fulfill our promises to God but the thing that trips up new and old born again Christians is we are to do but one thing.;..that thing is we are to do the will of Jesus...we are to walk like Jesus, we are to talk as he talked. we are to love like Jesus loved, we are in every way to do as he did, love as he loved, to do those things pleasing to Jesus THE WILL OF GOD and not to do those things that displease him. THE WILL OF GOD. SIMPLE...but what is the will of God. If you don't know go back to the new testament and read the whole thing. In every interaction Jesus is in, he wants something, He wants to teach us. That is his will. Sometimes he makes it clear. Sometimes not. Is this music ok with God. God love anything that make people think of him and his word. If this music makes you want to beat hell out of a Jew...maybe you need to stay away from it. It;s all about what is in your heart. We are to try everyday to please Jesus in all we do. WE are to stay as much as possible out of this world. I grew up in the most fantastic chamge in music history. From 65 to me starting with Dylan and to a lesser degree the Stones and Beatles rock and roll was truly unleashed. And much of the lyrics weren't so pleasing to God. But again, he reads whats in your heart. In my playlist I am currently working on many of the songs are somewhat negative towards life itself. In fact one of my favorite songs is entitled, God Was Never On Your Side by Motorhead...the playlist...MY Favorite 200 Songs or Playlist From A Bi Polar LIfe...has a few songs of this vent. But, it's what is in my heart. When I hear songs like some of these I dont so much go by the words...what I see is someone hurt speaking to God. Why would you speak to God if you didnt think he existed? Anyway I will stop this for now. Enjoy the songs on this playlist. BUt for Christians, rem,ember, What is in your heart when you hear this music and would it displease God. And if you have doubt pray about it. God Bless and enjoy the playlist. I certainly did.
