It pains me to think that as I grow up, I’m going to eventually forget about the players of this age, with new players to replace them.

So sad it had to come to an end

I started watching esports with csgo and EnVyUs like 8/9 years ago, i could play hours after hours without getting tired, always having fun, i met some people with whom i still play today and some we went our seperate ways. This is by far my favorite game of all time even tho i'm not playing that much cs anymore, i know every iconic moment of this game, i watched every major, every competition, My favorite player has always been apEX and i was there in paris for the major where Vitality won with him as the igl it may seems weird but i cried, I believe it just shows how much i love this game and the scene

I started following the pro scene with Navi's victory at Katowice 2020. Although I have known popular team tags since CS 1.6, in which I spent a lot of time, but it wasn't particularly interesting before. But with the victory of Navi, I felt all this spirit of competition, the feeling when your favorite team makes an incredible comeback or highlight. Or the bitterness of defeat from not reaching the playoffs of the tournament. In particular, of course, I was watching my CIS region, which flourished just in the online era and lasted until February 24. And to this day I continue to root for my beloved Navi, even despite the failures. This is what I remember most about the CS GO era. I hope CS2 will bring me no less pleasant experiences for the teams, since I myself can no longer afford to play this game every day.

That capsule opening was so anti-climactic. Has no place in a video like this.

Pasha entering the stage of Katowice alone with the trophy, with tears in his eyes, remebering his success from 2014 in front of his audience, after old VP had disbanded, is to me still the most soul crushing, moving and beautiful displays of love for game of Counter Strike. It felt like handing over the entire legacy he built with Golden Five to new generation knowing his prime is over. I can help but cry a little seeing this. I feel honored to have been with these players in their successes and losses, they have made my youth awesome.
