I thought this movie was a 3rd grade horror thriller, but when I watched it, it really surprised me. Not only the thriller but also the messages it gave were very good, also unexpected things happen in many times...

Just finished watching this movie. It got some harsh reviews but I thought it was a fantastic film. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. 😃 No Serial Killer.

Title should have been different like "The Elevator", because you don't see devil, but you feel devil in strangers who stuck in elevator, each of them are sinners. Finally, one person left whom later spared by unseen ghost because he confessed his crime, rest all get murdered in strange way.

It's not a bad idea per say, but the screenplay is weak. The only mystery is which one of the character is the devil because the film lays out exactly what is happening through a bunch of cliched characters and occasional terrible voice over. This robs the film of any real suspense and by the time they do reveal the devil I had already stopped caring.

Really good film, I have it in my Netflix list. It was such an entertaining, and well written and unique film with an interesting take on what normally would have been an everyday situation,

bro this was SUCH A GOOD FUCKING MOVIE. I remember watching it countless times in the theatre as a high schooler, now even today... 6 years later I'm still thinking this is one of the most subtle yet thrilling "murder mysteries" ever conceived. I put quotations because I mean come on, anyone who saw the trailer for a movie called DEVIL would've known who the killer really was lol. Regardless, what a movie!!

Fun fact: The guy who plays the role of the survivor is the same guy who plays the lead role in the movie THE INVITATION. I didn't even recognize him until I looked it up on IMDb

This is a great movie to watch for movie night. It was interesting and kept me and my husband entertained. Plus there is a great twist at the end.

Kinda sad that The Night Chronicles never made it past the first instalment. Would've liked to have seen more films like this, the supernatural in everyday modern life.
