AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT Review - The ULTIMATE 10600k Killer?

I'm looking to CPU to play games without a GPU. Any recommedations? $150-250 budget for CPU.

I really like your videos, but your graph display is kinda muddy, in that they're not instantly clear, highlighted with relevant direct comparisons. Intel blue too obviously. Great video though.

10600K killer is a stretch. The 10600K is a very good chip, probably the best performance to value out of Intel in quite a while now. The 10600K is still the superior CPU in terms of gaming performance, and stays close enough to the 3600XT in other productivity tasks to make me feel it's the better buy at it's MSRP price. The problem is the current mark up price on the 10600K. If Newegg or others were selling it for the original launch price of $262-$270...it'd be a no brainer to ME. Compared to the XT, I'm saying. Honestly I don't see much point to the XT series unless it's to do what Gamers Nexus suggested, which is to bring their average sales price up. Why would I buy a 3600XT over a 3600? You're paying $80 to $100 for slightly better silicon quality and +300mhz boost clock. Just not worth it to me, and the performance margins I'm seeing solidify my opinion. The XT launch feels more like AMD shooting itself in the foot than anything else. It doesn't feel like an answer to Comet Lake. 10600K Killer? Nope. 3600 Killer? Nope. If anything, they'll probably sell more non-XT chips because of this launch lol. Of the XT launches, the 3600XT makes the most sense but that's not saying much. The 3800XT and 3900XT seem utterly pointless. How many people with 3600s or 3700x cpus are gonna go run out and buy an XT chip right now instead of just waiting for zen 3? Probably not very many. My 2c.
