How unisex do you think this is? I'm looking at LL Homme because I LOVE Green Lover

Hi I know I’m super late but I love this review and thanks so much for saying it’s unisex I looovvveee this fragrance it’s so different from what I’ve smelled but I was afraid of buying it and wearing it since it’s marketed for men but honestly I think now that fragrances are gender less so this might be my next birthday gift lol

Hey Steven(or anyone else for that matter), have you tried the newer (Vegan) version of Au Masculin ? Au Masculin is 1 of my top 5 favorites so it sucks that it’s been discontinued but I’ve been very curious as to how the new version measures up !

This fragrance was great it's discontinued so sad about this lost. This smells great on my skin love the licorice the best part is the dry down it smells like a mixture of pronouced vanilla infused with chocolate, anise, and licorice. Last all day you could even smell it after taking a shower. This was definitely a sophisticated sexy cologne perfect for fall and winter, will definitely be missed.

Got this 2 days ago and love this stuff ! Very few of my frags get compliments but I got quite a few just the first time I wore this out. I was a little worried about the licorice note around my gf as she hates licorice but she loved this scent and actually said it was 1 of her new favorites. It’s already cracked my top 5 personal favorites:)

Wow my ex girlfriend gave me this cologne back in 2004 and i remembered how it seemed to change scents on my skin every couple of hourse. that was before i learned that colognes evolve and change on the skin. it was kind of femme but i liked it.

One of my favorites. I discovered Lolita in Saks 5th Ave late 1990's and had to buy it for my girlfriend at the time. Years later I found this - Au Masculin - when buying Lempicka for another gf...Truth is - I buy the perfume for all my girlfriends bc I am such a fan.
I rarely use it, and use it sparingly but I prefer it on quiet nights with company. I actually like this all year round and because of it's soft essence find it nice before bed, even by myself. I also think it pairs well with lighter color clothing which you might wear in spring. But that doesn't seem to be a popular opinion. Not my pick for suit and tie or first dates. Not family events or work. Intimate settings with friends and loved ones indoors.

I'm actually wearing it right now on my right arm and I have Pi (original formula) Givenchy on my left - doing a comparison. Pi is fading fast and Au Masc is really holding up. Very little character change over time. It softens quite quickly and it maintains its appeal for a solid duration. It is definitely the type of scent that can be overdone so, like I said, I use it sparingly. I think the gourmand scents need to be hints in the air - something that sparks curiosity or creates a small craving. Too strong can be overwhelming to the senses.

It's a solid purchase - definitely has a great use. Unique cologne but has a familiar scent to those who can smell it. Does best close up so I really enjoy wearing it.

The name is Au Masculin. word to the wise. It won't make you appear more masculin - I believe you have to be masculin to really pull it off

Bad news, it has been reformulated a while back. I received it in the mail earlier today; the bottle changed, and the juice doesn't smell the same. I'd like to know your take on the reform, I'm hoping the smell change is just my nose playing tricks on me.

This one I wear at home, relaxing with a drink and some company, night or day.
Though I'm older than the target demographic, this blends with my body chemistry rather well.
If I spray to close to the skin it leaves a red area. Maybe from the alcohol, not sure because I'm a fragrance noob.
Thanks for the review.

This was a really good review pal. I watched it twice. You were spot-on. Great fragrance. I found it really hard to endure the licorice note initially but I love Annick Menardo and I also loved Body Kouros which shares a similar vibe to this one, so I think Au Masculin is starting to grow on me. Longevity on this fragrance is sick. I have felt this on my wrist well after 18 hours and a shower. And  that's not something I can say about many fragrances. Initially I tried it in a fragrance store and the performance seemed ok. It was only after I purchased this that I realized this thing has really sharp teeth and it's some really potent juice. I'm not 100% on the bandwagon yet, mainly because of the licorice, but gotta say, for what you paid, you get about 3 times your money's worth in quality. I can pick up the quality in there and even though it wasn't love at first try, I'm pretty sure that I will grow to like it which happened to me before, with LIDGE.

I'm well aware of L'eau Au Masculin, to just reply questioning me is just lazy. You should never answer a question with a question. You could of gone on Google images and seen if there was a new bottle design or asked some of your fellow reviews if they had heard anything about it being reformulated, which by the way it has been reformulated. I contacted Lolita Lempicka on they're official site and they confirmed it had been reformulated

What I said was, "Maybe you bought L'eau Au Masculin." L'eau is a different version, one which has a cap, but now that I checked out the website, I see they have a new packaging which might not necessarily mean a new formulation. I'm sorry I took a week to get back to you, but I have a few jobs and responsibilities that keep me busy. I don't work in Lolita Lempicka's customer service department. I'm sorry you got upset that it took me a week to respond and that I wasn't much help.

I have found out, in the week that it took you to reply, that it has been reformulated. Go onto the Official Lolita Lempicka website and you will see Au Masculin has a new bottle design. It took you a week to get back to me and the best you could say was, are you sure you mean au Masculin.... Thanks for that

Hmmm. Maybe you bought L'eau Au Masculin? That one has a cap that comes off, and it's a bit lighter and more lemony. It's a different fragrance. I would check to make sure you have the right one. I don't think it has been reformulated. Good luck!

I also have L'ea Au Masculin! I like it quite a bit. It's very powdery and light to my nose. It reminds me a lot of Prada's Infusion d'Homme. I like it and agree that it's a flanker with redeeming qualities. I'm actually looking forward to trying their newest flanker with oud in it! I've heard good things about it. Thanks for watching! =)

I have this one and I like it but not one of my favourits.. Have you ever tried its flanker L'eau au masculin? I have that one too and it is a great interpretation of the original for summer, it is green verbena with some with flowers and of course the licorice vibe, it is a fair flanker! Actually is mi SOTD in a really hot summer day in Argentina! Great review mate!

Thanks man! I would honestly picture someone from college up until their mid 30s wearing this fragrance. It's not as childish as Blue Sugar is, but if you're too mature and wearing this, I think it would give people the wrong impression. This is targeted toward a younger crowd for sure. Thanks for watching!

This is an amazing smell. I rate the smell under uniqueness, so for the smell, at 4:10, I gave it an 8/10. Although it's comparable to other anise/licorice based fragrances, this one really stands out in my collection. One of my favorites hands down. Thanks for watching!

Great review, this is one of my favs. It's definitely for those with a sweet tooth. In the dry down I get a sugary anise and licorice flavored sandalwood which I just love. There's a drink in the Caribbean made from the bark of a tree the drink is known as mauby (moor-bee) which is spiced with anise/aniseed and Au Masculine reminds me of that drink in the opening. Overall this is a delightful frag that's fun to wear.
