What amazes me the most is that Chengdu has more people then New York, L.A. and Chicago COMBINED yet still most westerners have never heard of it.

btw the sichuan pepper isnt actually spicy, it just makes your mouth feel like static tv.

im sichuanese and sometimes i would go downstairs only for my nose to shrivel into a husk bcs my mom had put a whole bowl of it downstairs

The peoples park is lovely. There was a guy doing karaoke. Also someone playing a musical saw ..it was very interesting .

My son lived there for two years . We went to visit . Their hygiene is awful they spit everywhere . I lived on rice .

the real Sichuan food is not about spicy，it‘s flavor. The best Sichuan food restaurant, actually don’t do much spicy food.
