Can someone explain, why you hear Asgore’s text sound effect right before you get locked in sans and paps’s garage

If you walk back and forth between the sans teleporting screens he’ll say “Are you following me?”

Interesting that the snoring resembles the game over screen, considering the game over dialogue is effectively memories of Asgore talking to the first fallen human, and they play again if you sleep in Asgore's house. Seems like any time Frisk falls unconscious, they're reminded.

There are two interpretations of the papyrus sparing you in the genocide route 1 is that he is so innocent he can't imagine anyone being evil and the other is that he knows he can't win and is trying to manipulate the player with really laying on he guilt being his only chance.

I just noticed this with the wrong number song.. the "very very sorry" made me think of Gasters "very very interesting".. I know it's probably not Gaster himself but a follower could pick up his manurisms after a while. Heck, maybe it was Mike before he became SPAMTON!! Idk lol😅

the [genocide route] for the yellow book means that in a normal route it says the normal dialogue, and in a genocide route it says "some unfinished book"

I love how all of the songs in the sound test are simple, one second loops, but Gaster’s theme is the only one that is longer and of higher fidelity

why has no one ever seen the monster picture with a phone number written on it attached to a fishing rod in the test sound place

This feels related, so I'm going to share a story.


When I played Undertale for the first time, I spent a long time on Papyrus' fight. After awhile, I started 'grinding' (As I REFUSE to do a run other then Pacifist) For gold to buy healing items. I went back to Papyrus and wound up getting the pity win. I swore that I wouldn't get the pity win again after that.


Guess what happened the next time I played Undertale😃

And managed it on the first try, too.

here is a easter egg for anyone who ever reads this when you die ASGORE tells you to stay determined but whats more intresting if you got to bed after beating TORIEL ASGORE will say you are the future of humans and mosters. to put all of this together in the true lab one of the old cds of CHARA ( your prepicked name) getting sick asgore will say the same things he says to you in the game over screen/cds meaning that asgore is not talking to you when you die but CHARA and you are hearing what CHARA heard like in the ASRIEL boss so asgore never talks to you in the game over screen

Toby is from the same city I am, which is in the broader economic zone as Boston. I would bet my life that Sans is meant to have a New England accent

You know what I noticed? Snowdin's librarbian looks kinda like Berdly, but green and with different clothing.

The yellow book is unwritten in both and can be read in both.

In the neutral or pacifist route it’s able to be seen but the writer interrupts you since it’s unfinished

In the genocide route frisk just notes silently that that the book is unfinished, as there’s no monster to notify you

It's difficult to remember but I think I may have experienced the sound check room on my first playthrough

If you zoom out in the first gaster egg you'll see that tuere are 2sans and sans doesn't teleport
