I throw my tank stance on my hello and goodbye macros so that I force them on and off at the beginning and end of each dungeon.

You would come out with this once I start doing Eureka content.....one of the few contents in the game where tank stance could be exceedingly dangerous in some instances!

I'm that friend, me, the one who never tanks and, therefore, the one who always forgets his stance. Thanks for the video!

It's a cool Macro, too bad most of the time they tell me to turn it off because someone else is MT :'v

You can also use "/gearset change WAR" for warrior that way even if you reorder your sets it'll still works. If you have 2 sets for the same class, it'll always take the first one in the list.

that's a good idea, but for me, it will make me more likely to forget when I DO get synched.

thanks for the tip. I would like to add that, if you're trying to save space (macros are limited to 15 line iirc) you can type <wait.1> at the end of the first line rather than putting /wait.1 on a separate line.

This type of macro is also useful for SMN and SCH, so you can summon your pet automatically when you change jobs.

But oddly I find this most helpful for Miner and Botanist, since both of these jobs can activate each other’s gathering node detection skills. IIRC you’ll need to first open up the Actions and Traits window, then check all the skills under the Additional tab.

The macros I use are as follows:

/micon "Miner" classjob
/gs change "Miner"
/wait 1
/ac "Triangulate"
/wait 1
/ac "Truth of Forests"

/micon "Botanist" classjob
/gs change "Botanist"
/wait 1
/ac "Prospect"
/wait 1
/ac "Truth of Mountains"

That will make a good addition to my class change macros... I somehow never thought of that. Thank you, Plushie!
