I am 80 year old man I walk daily at early in the morning daily without fail 5 to 8 kilometres and do some physical exercises as well. Some days I walk about 10 kilometres.
ОтветитьDont believe the evolution paradigme he is pushing though. Millions of years ago… that’s not empirical science.
ОтветитьWhy are the science & benefits of walking shocking?
ОтветитьMel , you’re a 🐝🐝
ОтветитьI’m very much interested to know what this video will teach because I have been walking with my dog for a couple blocks around my neighbourhood for the last couple years.
ОтветитьWalk! Walk Walk‼️
ОтветитьJust do it! Understanding doesn't matter...feeling alive does. Oh, heavens, self awareness!! Motivation !
ОтветитьI have a 6 year old hunting dog hybrid 🐕, and we walk together 👍
ОтветитьThose of us with torn meniscus and excruciating pain, it’s very hard to walk, but I push on and I’m trying to build up to walking more!
ОтветитьInteresting. Thanks!
ОтветитьI have a neighbor who’s a 98yr old Marine🇺🇸who walks everyday 💪💓💝🤩
ОтветитьThe US 🇺🇸military knows this & why they do cadence & call outs (mantras😉)!
They’re creating new neural pathways in the brain via walking & chanting.
I loved the interview! Also, you are a good interviewer by not interrupting the speaker.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьYou a doc? Why switching topics so much?
ОтветитьI’ll be listening to your podcast as I’m walking. Lol.
ОтветитьGreat presentation about walkng science. Thanks for sharing and take care 😀.
Ответить❤❤Thanks ❤❤From India...assam
ОтветитьGood stuff

ОтветитьHey Mel!
Greetings from Hong Kong!
Just two things,
You don't look like a tiger but a BEE 😀😅😂🤣 ~~~~
Dr. Shane is too close to the monitor and we cannot see her eyes clearly because of his glasses' reflection. Please just note.
The problem now is can’t even walk in peace because there’s too many crazy people out there.
ОтветитьThis was a great podcast for many reasons. But, I’m also impressed that Mel Robbins can be so famous and successful, but still just do this holding her own microphone and without a special set. I guess she realizes that content is everything.
ОтветитьI do custodial work in a high school and already have 10,000 steps in and 3 hours left of work. I love walking. I listen to your podcasts while working.
ОтветитьMel….I cannot thank you enough! I listen to your podcasts while I walk! You are truly amazing! I walk with my friends every weekday morning and cannot believe how much it has done for me! I look forward to our walks so much. I simply feel more joyful ❤️. Thank you Mel!! Keep doing this much needed and appreciated podcast! ❤️❤️
ОтветитьWinter?? How do you mangae then... Deep snow and ice, freezing winds. Stops me every year, no gym no malls here, no treadmill, no pool, and no skiing, has to be a safe solitary activity. Ideas...
ОтветитьI wrote a memoir about a certain look into mental health – I've BPD-esque highs and lows in life, but every time i find a hot streak in my life, productivity, and happiness, its very much correlated to my walks.
I could go on for ages with my anecdotea, thousands of journal entries, notes to self about how its changed my life.
We surely need walking for a truly healthy human life.
The Canadian truck drivers found themselves walking and driving together. They left their trucks and marched against vaccines in Ottawa. Consolidation of people with a common goal.
ОтветитьHow about running
ОтветитьI love walking and walk a lot. But now I am starting to notice intermittent pain in my hips and this worries me making me feel discouraged with walking. I really want to convince myself that this pain is not a result of my walking
ОтветитьMel Robbins so rude and disruptive and keep asking same question over and over, what are the benefits of walking??? If you let the guest talk perhaps he will explain it.
ОтветитьMel has exposed this guy's ignorance! I am shocked...what kind of neuroscientist is he. I find him to be neurotic and most of his replies are BS!
ОтветитьThis might be considered cheating, but i ride my horse. We take long walks in the forest and both enjoy being in nature. I still have to balance and move with her so she really doesn't do all the work. I ride with another friend so its very social. And I'm 72!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThis guy is absolutely clueless! It's just unbelievable he calls himself a scientist.
All the benefits attributed to MOVING in general are coming from getting rid of the body toxins
by "pumping" the LYMPH (especially through muscle contractions in the below-the-heart part f your body).
So get some education on LYMPHATICS. If your sewage system is not working properly - which you can tell bcoz you have BRAIN FOG, DEPRESSION and SYSTEMIC PAIN/ all over your body - you need to start CLEANSING radically (!j
MOVING IN VARIOUS WAYS EVERY DAY is only a part of this process.
The whole interview was a total waste of time. So disappointed...
Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI love her.
Ответить12 mile forest walk this morning, feeling happy as ever
ОтветитьI was expecting the mechanics and neurological internal system benefits by the title of the book; nothing much I did not know; so disappointed!
Ответитьexcellent.
ОтветитьI don't have any friends to walk with.
ОтветитьYou need a phone with you for safety
Ответить& I'm REALLY CURIOUS to hear why she dressed like a bumble 🐝 bee!
ОтветитьEverytime,I walk,I hear people talking, and then these words or sentences are like meaningful, like a life-changing phrases or an eye-opener kindoff thing
ОтветитьMy parents always had dogs. When their last dog died, my dad was 87 and he said one day, "were getting a new puppy!". I didn't say anything, but didn't think that was a great idea. Well, I was wrong. Dad had to get out of his chair and walk that dog 3 times a day, climbing the steep driveway to the road, talking to neighbors, and thinking of something outside of his own head. Dad passed at 103 years old and was still driving and walking that dog till he was 101, and I am convinced he lived such a long and healthy old age because he walked 3 times a day till he was past 100. Walking regularly is the best thing you can do for your health and well-being. I have always walked and will until I can't.
ОтветитьI was brought to your sight by a suggestion by Mark Hary
ОтветитьBzzzzz! Walking is good for you!
ОтветитьCurrently about to put on my runners and tights on + walking to go get my groceries! So good, I love the non emphasis on "gotta grind it out" there's a sense of somatic in the walking - especially without the damn phone and ear buds. Nature sensory to deregulate ... thanks to both!
ОтветитьStopped watching when he said Brexit was sad.
