Hey everyone! Thanks as always for all the amazing comments. I know this is not the video some folks were hoping for, but it was the video I felt compelled to make. I appreciate all feedback and look forward to seeing you all in the upcoming content!
ОтветитьSeems to me as if Sony is trying to sell more TVs. Samsung is leading the race but why do I get the feeling this channel is trying to sell Sony?
ОтветитьCaleb, got a question, I am getting the 55" samsung s95c with the hw-q700c soundbar for 1443usd vs the 55" sony a80l for 2116usd. Which would be the better pick? I have a thing for Sony products but wonder if it's really worth it. The a95l is definitely out of my budget range.
ОтветитьAll of these TVs look insane. Just buy whichever one is on sale lol
ОтветитьAt the end of the day, the LG is still going to crush them all since it’s the one that got into the OLED game first.
ОтветитьThe Sony is almost twice as expensive lmao
Ответитьsony best
ОтветитьA95C is €500 cheaper than G3,Im really into gaming both ps5 n PC but dont know which to get?Whats with that all saturation?Dont undetstand people that say that Samsung picture are too much saturated
ОтветитьWait for Sony to go on sale then buy the Sony paired with a sound bar if that’s what you want. I personally hate sound bars and think they are a waste of money. A fully sound system powered by an AVR for me. When it’s time to upgrade you can keep you speakers and upgrade the AVR. You don’t need a whole new system. They also tend to sound better and have more options to get your system sounding the way you want. You can also upgrade your system one thing at a time.
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing video. Thank you
ОтветитьI can’t believe all these TV’s brag about how thin they are and then they don’t come with incorporated mounts like the G3 or frame tv…. 95% of people are wall mounting these. Give everyone a flush option.
ОтветитьNice review. One thing that's missing in this comparison are the panels' ability to reject sunlight. That's really important to me because I have a giant bay window in my family room. I know that Sony professional panels have done a really nice job with ambient light mitigation. I'm just curious if that tech transferred into their prosumer panels.
ОтветитьWhatever the chewpest out of the 3 wins for me, i dont think i would notice the differences anyways.
ОтветитьCaleb, where would you rank if you replaced the Sony A95L with the Sony BRAVIA XR X93L Mini-LED 4K UHD? 1.? 2.? 3.? I'm looking to buy a TV in a few months and I'm a big sports fan and love watching movies.
ОтветитьThe Samsung will ALWAYS be last place. No Dolby. Vision. It’s to bad they won’t join the DV club. They make a great product but that one thing is a deal breaker. Period. I keep trying to get people to stop buying them in order to show Samsung it’s a big deal.
ОтветитьWhat is the best for gaming between those 4?
ОтветитьYes, I bought a G3, came home all night fiddling with the settings to bypass the brightness blocking, as well as a broken FilmMaker mod, and when it seemed like I should be happy, it turns out that fucking Atmos doesn’t work on Windows, although for some reason LG CX worked Wonderful :)
ОтветитьSerious Question: Why did Panasonic pull out of the TV market in the U.S? I still have my original 1080P Panasonic and I swear it looks better than some of these 4k TV's.
ОтветитьThe Sony is the best, no doubt. On the flip side, it is not worth the price premium imo
ОтветитьIm still confused about the A95L’s gaming capabilities, there was no mention of gsync or freesync on the sony
ОтветитьI can see that A95L is the best, however, I prefer LG due to it being affordable. Well, I would rather go for LG C3. LG C3 is good enough and cheaper.
Ответитьwhats the best for gaming? as in the input response time etc?
ОтветитьGreta review Caleb, a state of the art for those who like me need to take a decision. On one thing I disagree though, I'm not even considering Samsung because I cannot accept (even though you say that you hardly believe somebody can see the difference between having Dolby Vision and don't) in 2023 that they still do not want to support Dolby Vision, to defend their failure HDR10+... I mean they lost so hard, that a parallel with Blu-ray and HD-DVD fits so well... Never ever a Samsung TV in my life anymore.
ОтветитьI tried that Samsung one (or it's predecessor), returned it as the menu was confusing, locked/stripped down and I still like my numbers when switching channels (without having to speak) got a Philips "The One" now for about a year and don't like the bugs that pop up from time to time, not to mention some weird issues surrounding it's remote
of course in the end it's all about personal preferences, but I wouldn't mind if you did some "who has the best menu/ui" or something similar, because it might influence your choice when buying a tv -and not everyone can make it to the store to try out, which might not even be allowed
What tv is that on the bottom of the 3 up top?
ОтветитьI recently switched to an 77” S90C from a Sony 77” A80J because I couldn’t stand the near black chrominance overshoot which is highly visible in so many movies and series as it’s really common for movies and series to have dark scenes. There’s just no way I’m going to buy another WOLED screen now that I have seen what QD-Oled has to offer.
ОтветитьOne important question: all the sony tv's have a very high level of sharpness and clearness of the image, is this aspect visible when comparing the A95L with samsung s95C? Also i know that Sony has many more settings than Samsung. Any advice will be highly appreciated in deciding between Sony or Samsung.
ОтветитьAwesome video and the best advice I have ever seen any reviewer give! you are right on so many levels throughout this video. They are so close, no one is going to be missing out at all, providing you get the feature you need. You have my respect and deffo subbing. I have the G2 and still over the moon with that. I normally miss at least two generations before changing. I will watching what Sony does with their new LED drivers and LG with the MLA to see which is my pick in 2025 :)
ОтветитьI went with the LG G3 as it’s the cheapest of the 3 flagship tv’s
ОтветитьFor me, and I know it’s stupid. If all the tv is this close in performance then it’s SONY for just because I want the brand name.
ОтветитьYou are the Honest and best TV reviewer
ОтветитьI still have a 2016 Sony 75" 3D TV going strong so it's been awhile since I looked at a new tv. But I can't believe how reasonably priced they are these days.
For me it would be the operating system as a huge determining factor. Google I prefer a million times over the other OS's if for no other reason than the "underground" apps Android can run. Sony still charges a premium though...so you really have to weigh everything..
Double blind testing is the way to go. It's the best way to eliminate the inherent bias people have.
ОтветитьI could not decide between the G3 and S95C (the price point eliminated the Sony). I was literally going to flig a coin until Best Buy ran a special were they included the table top stand with the LG3 at bo cost. Since I'm unable to wall mount the TV that was the difference maker in my decision. That's just how close these TVs are. BUT I am keeping my eye on the Sony to catch a clearance deal.
ОтветитьFor me the Samsung is number one Oled light color black !
Ответитьyou can adjust one however you want to say one is better than the other! Don't take us for marbles Dude
ОтветитьLove to know where you got the TV cabinet?
ОтветитьWhy would you not include the Panasonic MZ2000 in this comparison? Surely up there as they best?
ОтветитьI know this from experience.
Sonys are better for low light rooms
LGs are better for bright rooms Samsung are bright too but still struggles with motion
They all do show a good picture.
What sets them apart for me is the user interface.
Sony and Samsung interface are sluggish and burdensome to navigate.
LG interface is smooth as butter.
Personally I think LG has the better picture and with that buttery smooth interface I'm sticking with LG for the foreseeable future.
The picture judder on the S95c during the hammock scene is the main reason I'm hesitant to give up my Samsung plasma. Every time I watch anything else, cheap or expensive, some sort of motion defect always bugs me.
ОтветитьEnjoying your real world down to earth reviews thank you!
The OLEDs are amazing, but but I still worry about screen burn even though would predominantly be used for series & movies. If I chose an OLED, it would likely be the Sony because of the processing and unfortunate HDR war (HDR10+ v DV), where Dolby Vision seems to be dominant on 4K physical media, though a few include both standards. Price wise the SAMSUNG is even more gorgeous. Then again the SAMSUNG Neo QLED QN95C is no slouch as an alternative, albeit HDR10+ with no DV, ahhhhh, dilemmas...
ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL VIDEO.THANK YOU ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьCaleb is Sony Bravia A95L QD OLED best OLED both Movie/TV Gaming as mix use.
ОтветитьI wish there was a world where none of these had any compromises. If Sony was cheaper, it would be an easy choice for me. If LG had a better remote/interface, it would be an easy choice for me. If Samsung had Dolby Vision, it would be an easy choice for me.
ОтветитьPanasonic mz2000
ОтветитьI'm going G3 for that slick no gap wall mounting. Just looks incredible.
ОтветитьHELP: G3 or the A95L???
My preference is for best cinema/movie quality. (I'll be using an avr so tv speakers need not be considered) thx
the a95k look really dark and black
Ответитьthx a lot, but i`m fine with my c2. all of this models are huge overprice
ОтветитьI love this channel but I really wish this was more of an actual comparison. This really isn’t a versus video this is just a “they are all great TVs” video.
Ответить
