I don't know how many times I watched this video. But it's good, that the career mode has since been updated to solo tours.

I think if they up date these against they need to make a competitive mode and u challenge others in a competition format I think that would make these games better too . And they should make Tony Hawk 3-4 and 5 we can’t get enough there amazing games

They really should have added people to the maps 😵‍💫 it looks and feels so empty without any people on the maps. They could have used the same idea as Jet set radio easily. Where you can never actually hit people because they jump or fall out of the way.
But makes the maps feel population and lively.

Rockstar could learn a thing or two from these devs.

I prefer the original. The remastered version looks and feels like it was gentrified by a bunch of hipsters who lack originality that went crazy with boring clothing ads 😂. Yes, the remastered version looks amazing in 4K with HDR, but it lacks that late 90s and early 00’s THPS vibe. A couple of animations they added look horrendous imo. It also lacks enjoyable hidden characters and bl00d 🤦‍♂️.

I just thought of this. Much like Halo 1 and 2 remasters, I wish they implemented a button you could press to revert back to the original graphics. I understand why tho

The best thing about the mall is that it shows just how thoroughly Vicarious Visions did their homework. Look up photos of real-life malls that have been abandoned for several years (two of the more infamous ones being Rolling Acres and Randall Park), and you'll find that they don't look all that much different from THPS 1+2's mall. As someone who's always been rather fascinated by the subject, the realism of that environment really hit me like a ton of bricks, and it gave me a whole new level of respect for the remake.

I played Tony Hawk 1 on Demo disk until my friend got the game for PS. We played it so much. I put it for my switch and the update its complete garbage. I don't care about the new music. I'll just buy a PS and play the original game.

It does annoy me that they censored everything. They’re being too safe with kids now. These kids are all playing games that involve cutting peoples heads off etc.
So not adding blood by falling off your skateboard I doubt is gonna bother them at all. Same with the swearing in the soundtracks. These kids probably listen to music that has swearing in it anyway. Didn’t bother us as kids, so why now? I grew up with underground 1.

They should really have kept it in.

The customization reminds me of the wrestling game you could make him crazy looking but ends up becoming the best player that you create

Kinda weird to me that all of the skaters and areas are how they look today.
So instead of playing a young tony hawk in some run down ghetto, you're playing a 60yo tony in some sanitized area thats been painted over.

The new one is obviously an improvement, but I'll miss the old sound design, actually. It's the sound of so many hours of my teenage years.

I personally miss unlocking spiderman after beating the game. Can't quite remember if it's THPS1 or THPS2.

Nice when old games are remade .it often opens up so many new opertunities

No blood??? Blood is a part of skateboarding. Skateboarders bleed when they fall. Other than that, the game looks awesome!

The new THPS looks a little crappy but I Love the style but the old games wow, and for me I still love them.

I really hope that Vicarious Visions is able to work on THPS 3 next. Even with Activision and Visions being bought my Microsoft.

They should’ve given the GTA trilogy to these devs.

When PSN gave this away a couple of months ago I was overjoyed.
Trying to get the platinum trophy is far from joyful though.

It felt like a completely new game and I found it hard to remember the layouts.
