ОтветитьI was under the impression that Chataf Qamats was a reduced Qamats Qatan which is a member of the O vowel family, not a member of the A vowel family. Hence אוֹהֶל ('ohel) is the root of אָהֳלוֹ ('oholo).

ОтветитьI read that Hebrew was a tonal language. But the way you teach it, it doesn't sound like a true tonal language. A tonal language gives a vowel different pitches so that a consonant combined with the vowel can result in words with different meanings.

ОтветитьThis is Yiddish there is no vowel points in the true Hebrew. This language was invented by the caucasian Khazar Jewish people and is not Hebrew!
