I read an explanation about resurrection before and they said, that if it didn't happen, the disciples would not risk their life telling the truth about it otherwise they would be persecuted by the leaders. Also they said if it didn't happened the disciples would have sooner or later deny Jesus resurrected after the torture they have been through from the governor who wanted them to deny it. Psychology said people who are not telling the truth would deny it at certain point during torture. They also explained that how come many people are telling the same thing about the resurrection that they witness it if when they saw Jesus. It is not logical to tell lies for the longest time if it didn't happen. Only detractors would do discredit it because they hate it is true.
