I honestly think with the right budget, director and Metzen at the helm of writing. A WoW Live Action series would be second to none.

Well part of the problem with the elf (Sylvanas) she burned down a tree of the homes of the Alliance elves with innocents and the Orc (Saurafang) does not kill innocents especially children. There were some animated cinematics in between that would explain why he changed sides. I play horde characters but I'm going to be a bad guy when I say I never was a fan of Sylvanas.

They missed one...Go find something called Old Soldier. It explains Saurfang's reasoning behind everything he did in this, and explains the blue troll's role in all of it. It's as good as the others and it has a HUGE impact on the understanding of the story. If you go looking into Sylvanas Windrunner, you'll find her backstory. She's got quite the story arc over the entire game.

Slyvanas never cared about the horde to begin with, she used them to fit a means to an end. Even in the beginning she saw the horde was losing..and she needed to win that battle so she did what she had to, to encourage the troops. if she cared for them, she wouldve fought with them from the beginning like any other warchief. Especially being a top sharpshooting archer first...she could've easily picked off people.

There are actual historical swords that can split apart (bifurcated). I know of at least one type where two mirrored parts have one side of the blade and hilt is flat enabling the user to merge them together into a single sword with a thicker blade. How practical it was is another discussion.

Blizzard can have as many "L's" as ppl wish to give them, but one thing u just cannot deny- is their cinematics.
Just since Diablo 2, they are keep making the best cinematics in game industry.

That was not all the BFA cinematics. Saurfang's cinematic on the night before the battle at Lorderon was missing, so the part of the context of tge story is missing from his perspective

Sush a shame they butchered sylvanas "the elf chick" she was such a great leader in the start and ruthless, but still she gave her people free will and tried her best, hell she even helped the blood elfs join the horde when they had nowhere to go, she had her own agenda to ofcourse, so she never was fully "good" but still shes one of the few female bosses in world of warcraft women AND men liked, and she always said she would never "serve" anyone as she was forcefully mind controlled for quite a while to kill her own people and so on, but then years later when this patch to the game come, they do exactly that wich she said she would never do, they just ruined her.

King Varian Wrynn's legendary sword Shalamayne were the result of two night elven blades, Shalla'tor and Ellemayne being fused together as one, when Onyxia inadvertently combined the two Varians back into one person, the two blades (Shalla'tor and Ellemayne) were merged into a single weapon as well.
During the mak'gora between Varok Saurfang and Sylvanas Windrunner, (in the very beginning of this video) Anduin gave Shalamayne to Saurfang, and Saurfang is the only other person to have ever split the sword in to two halves. it was said that only those who walked in the light and had a pure heart could separate the two swords without being total annihilated in the process.

While I love the reaction I’m curious as to why he got so hyped when saurfang split the sword as I don’t think he knows the lore behind it and why it was a hyped moment.

These cinematics still brings a tear of happiness to my eye. You can say what you want about the games nowadays. But one thing that Blizzard has perfected, is the art of making cinematics that absolutely SLAPS!

The movies, as usual, are awesome, but this expansion lore was a betrayal for all horde players.

The sword that split in Saurfang's hands is Anduin's father sword called Shalamayne, previously those were twin blades called Shalla’tor and Ellemayne. The sword has its own quite big lore. It doesn't split for everyone, the sword finds people fitting, so the sword responds. Indicates that Saurfang was truly a honorable character.

Anduin is who Arthas was supposed to be... A just, fair, honorable and a good King...

Not sur eif anyone had posted this yet, but to put it simply, the blade allows those who it deems as honorable to be able to duel wield it.

The situation between the Horde and the Alliance is.... complicated. Neither are evil or good, if you ask me.

I don't even care what people think about Sylvanas, that "For the Horde!" moment is one of the best moments in WoW trailer/cinematic history. Period!

so iv watched a billion people react to all wow trailers iv watched them all iv seen people talk about them. People will argue this or that on what is well shown or not. but you know the number 1 thing that almost no new people tend to notice more than anything. its not missing the "hoard is nothing" side glance. its not "who is the bad guy" in various expansions when its really more gray. its not even missing that thrall looks so different many times they think its a new character.

the number 1 thing that is not explained well in any trailer. sylvanas is dead.....undead but dead. she leads the undead. in this trailer you see undead fighting with her but even in lich king if you only watch the forsakens betrayal you wouldnt put together that they were her troops as someone only watching that trailer.

rarely does it matter i just remember a few other reactors and people i know in life who talk about sylvanas and just dont know this extremely important part of her story. she just looks like a purple elf. which of course EXIST in the game so theres no reason to assume otherwise. but she is very dead and brought back.

its insane how when sylvannas turns into the banshee and lets out a shriek and then yells "for the horde" i still get goosebumps on both parts. and im a diehard alliance player. it was just so amazing

and about the swords ! there is 3 of this kind of legendry swords that called mourne or rune weapons i think . each of them have unique abilities . the anduin's can split in 2 . also anduin is a paladin so he can ressurect soldiers who died on battle as u saw :D sry if i talk alot lol

The mak gora duel u saw has a simple rule ! just use weapons and dont use magic ! sylvanas broke that rule and used her banshee magic . but she is one of only few characters in wow universe that have a RIIICH story . she wasnt like that at first . and also she will try to fix what she done in future . she is veryyyyyyyyyyy interesting character .

I know I'm 3 years late on this video but honestly, these cinematics were PERFECTION while the expansion was shit. That first opening, every time I watch it, gives me chills and I literally start crying. It's like watching it briefly reignites the passion and love I once felt for the game. I WISH Blizzard used their cinematics team to make the movie into a series instead of using live action characters. The movie(s) would've broken records if they did it that way. I know it would've been a bigger undertaking but it would have been a masterpiece.

"This cinematic is was so good" also "The WoW movie (cinematic with some actual assets) was so bad". I have never cared what anyone thinks about the movie. I very much enjoyed it. Some Say "don't make a movie unless you are gonna make it the best thing I've ever seen and follow every detail to the T", F that, make me another movie, get as much right as you can. Above all, make it enjoyable. Those same naysayer will go see The Fast and the Furious 13 with no issue that somehow dead people return, no government has assassinated the whole crew for the millions in damage and countless off screen lives they have taken.

You missed a clip where they show story of the tooth amulet. And if you knew the story of Sylvanas, you'd feel the chills when she yelled "For the horde!". But since the purpose of the video is totally different, I just wanna thank you for the reaction! <3
