The fact the original Dead Space made you feel legit horror even in roons with all lights on, makes you realize how the game really invert the concept of "safe zone".

I'd rather roam through dark corridors because it meant that place was already torned apart by necromorths, wile a pristine place meant incomming quarantine zone alert.

So the Ps5 version have the worse performance between consoles, have slower loading times (What happened with the magical, super fast SSD? LOL) Have a bug that makes the game look like a ps3 game and also lack true hardware VRR. Ps5 is such a PATHETIC console lmao. So glad Xbox and PC exist and we, the ones who actually care about quality, do have better options than gaming on a PS5

Isn't it a little redundant to say "PBR based" materials? Considering PBR already stands for "physically based rendering"?

Game breaking bugs on pc have stopped me from being able to finish it. When trying to start a machine in chapter 12 all of the power cells failed to spawn so I'm basically stuck until it's fixed.

Why not lock the RT mode at 40 or so frames? Why 30, when it was jumping between 45 and 59 fps on RT prior?

PS5 version is actually quite a bit better than the Series X version. Both visually as well as how it performs. It has better lighting, higher frame rates, better shading, and better colors on the PS5. This is why reviewers scored it higher.

Definitely looks and plays best on the PS5, which is why the PS5 version has the highest Metacritic score and user reception, but the Series X isn't too far off.

Never played this game... guess now is the time to do it. Looks nice!

Stutter, Stutter, Ctd's, and Audio desyncs. WE need a patch! Forums are flooded with complaints!

I'd like an option to have unlocked fps on both PS5 and SX.

The game is very fun, but to be honest, the visual is not impressive at all. The Callisto Protocol(very boring game) looks much much better.

I'm having a hard time choosing between performance and ray tracing some body help me lol

Hopefully the do a 40fps or even a 45fps mode like Resi Village did as that worked incredibly.

Remaster = same game with added graphical improvements, gameplay tweaks. Remake = the game is completely remade from scratch with new technology to bring the concept to a modern standard. Reboot = a fresh start on an existing franchise. IGN this has never been complicated to understand.

If you have the disk on PS5 or SX just launch it offline without patch and if you don't mind the dips in fps you are averaging around 50fps.

Why didn't they just use Frostbite's scaling? It's always looked great and FSR2 is bloody awful.

Honestly, a series of charts detailing the findings would be so much more helpful than these super-long videos.

So Xbox Series S could achieve 60fps in this game but they capped with Day One patch.
