Nuclear Power in Space - How RTGs Work

Nuclear power is sometimes the best option for space probes and rovers to generate electricity. However, this doesn't usually come in the form of a nuclear reactor, instead, it's usually with an RTG. RTGs are used on many spacecraft, from the Mars Curiosity rover to the Voyager probes, including the recently approved NASA Dragonfly Mission.
