I know I'm a bit late to the party but just wanted to note how helpful this vid has been. As a new player looking for what ship options were available, I was intrigued by many on this list with the descriptions given. I started playing with a group to game with right off the start, so I knew I was going to focus on multi-crew vessels.

Amazing videos. You'd make a great car salesmen. But if you read this, id like to make a suggestion. When youre reviewing multiple ships in one video, can you continuously give the ship name, instead of only in the beginning. Ive noticed ive missed ships name in the beginning quite a few times and when i try to rewind back, im going to far back. Name the ship in the beginning and end of its small review.

I have to hand it to cig with their recent shield chnages. It's very much nudges the MSR into avoiding fights where ever possible instead of being able to act as a light gunship like in prior patches lining up with her intended role. Ended up aiding with the Andromeda for my workhorse

Multicrewing being a good meta choice is definitely a temporary situation. For it to stay a good use of resources, the margin of DPS between the NPC and your buddy (Yes, just the difference between them.) would have to be larger than your buddy's contribution in their own ship. The meta will be everyone solo flying their NPC crewed multicrew ships.

Actually, if you have the F7C-M... put laser repeaters on the turret and use ballistics on the wings/nose!

This way the turret is more effective, you as the pilot can use gimbal to fire short bursts at the target once shields are down. Having two shields also makes this craft a bit more resilient against attacks in the case where one of them needs a restart.

I realize this video is quite old, and things have changed since it was released. While I agree with your list, I was surprised that you said (what I understand) that the Caterpillar is not meant to be taken into combat. Yes, it is primarily a hauler, but it can take quite a beating. Also if you have a full crew for the turrets, it packs a decent punch. If you have enough mates in your game session and you can get 4 Nova Tanks, with a bit of tricky flying you can put one tank in each cargo bay, making for a nice broadside configuration. I realize certain tricks could be done with other ships as well, but just wanted to put the Cat out there in case anyone was interested.

Since I play games largely in solo , I hope we will get some AI or NPC to be able to go inside those manned seats because well its sucks otherwise

Multi cruise ships are definitely fun but they need to have some solid gun toting single player ships every ship has got more than three guns you have to have a second person to turn it and you can't slave the turret which is kind of a waste

Update: the redeemer blows everything else straight out of the water with two size 5 and two size 3 turrets. its a true gunship and Pack a hell of a Punch.

What do you mean about telling the Mercury Star Runner to defend itself? How do you do that?

I often get alot of compliments from randoms how good my turret skills are and I'm usually asked upon I'm chat for bounty missions 😁 just another guy trying to make his way in the universe

How much do they pay you to make these videos? They game is never gonna be finished and never be fully playable without bugs or glitches

the connie was always a craft i loved, its so cool with the extra fighter, as a team of three with my friends we can really make use with that

i played for the first time a couple weeks ago and flew my ship around learning the controls and stuff, then like a curious idiot i walked onto my ships ramp while in quantum travel and flew out. some guy in an alien dropship came and brought me to a nearby station and then just gave me 10mil for some reason. best start to a game ive ever experienced
