Learning too much about Suzi. Hanging around bars waiting for drinks while flirting with bartenders. I guess we all need a hobby!

WoW first time I've seen the JBL ear buds, look great how do they sound team? Bass treble etc?👍 and do you need a pilots licence for the flying motorbike? Just seen Jons review on the buds 👍

Guys super glad you’re back, a mix of nostalgia and next GEN, you can keep that LOL can I ask when can we expect 21604K please? Also, could you include chapters so we could skip things that we’re really not interested in? I like the long format don’t lose it for goodness sake but just allow us to skip stuff by understanding what’s in each chapter again please… lovely to see the appearance from uncle Fester, no disrespect that’s just what we called him in our house back in the days of Bermingham😂 all the very best, Simon, Isle of Wight

The Gadget Show might have been cancelled on TV, but I prefer how your podcast has turned out. You seem to have room to breathe outside of a TV format and not rush things - so something really nice has emerged out of a cancellation.
Thanks for doing this :)

The one thing you didn’t mention which I’m really looking forward to is the Atari hand held with an absolute tonne of retro games on from all the old Atari machines like the 2600

The problem I have with new GPUs is there are no new games I want to take advantage of them, all the games I play are several years old now.... I feel like the AAA is dead and I'm not going to want to upgrade for some crap Ubisoft game.

This cannot be any clearer

There will be NO flying cars,j etpacks, or people carrying drones ever in the UK and Europe.

This is because there is NO airspace left for them. The result of numerous enquiries was clear. The taxpayer asked to pay for a new lower airspace management system costing an estimated 225 billion pounds which the taxpayer could only understand would constitute a subsidy for a few people who could afford such transport but were not prepared to pay, 50000 per flight to recoup this cost. Final conclusion, if you want personal transport ,buy a helicopter, obtain a pilot's licence, or buy a ticket on an airline to reduce the pollution and conflict which such ideas would endure.

Emergency and security drones could operate offshore away from controlled airspace but not anywhere near built-up areas, which covers most of Britain and Europe. The states Australia and maybe china will have different local conditions. Essentially, the money is better spent on updating the network of airfields and infrastructure in the UK in preparation for conflict.

One of the best applications of tech I've seen recently, happened to be glasses. With built in tech that have voice recognition, intended for people that are hearing impaired, they show the speech as text within the lens of the glasses. Not only useful when with someone who doesn't know sign language, but it would also assist the wearer to hear speech on radios and possibly public announcements.
Another is timekettle which have a range of products from a handheld device and also a set of earbuds. Each person has one earbud each and it translates the conversation between a range of languages.

Great episode team. Trawled the internet for a CES2025 summary and the rest touch on big or transparent tellies, whole body measuring mirrors and a robot hoover with an arm.
This felt much more wide ranging. Super job.
