The Making of a Leather Backpack: the zippered pocket

Measure where the leather overlay will be sewn in your main inside panel. Trace where the zipper will go in the back of your leather overlay. Put the overlay in place and then sew it. Open the back of your panel to see the zipper overlay. Sew the pockets to the zipper then attach the zipper to the overlay and sew while the ziper panels are separated.
