I have a question what is better .To keep my old r9 270x 2GB and get ryzen 5 1600 (not only for gaming...i am going to use it for streamming and photoshop) or to get gtx 1060 3GB and ryzen 5 1400 and use it for the same tasks.

Witcher 3 seems not optimized for Ryzen, maybe a driver update will help it? Also,,,, most people game on a 60hz monitor. Ryzen would be my choice and extra cash for a better GPU... Wait for Ryzen v2.

And 4 months after the release of that video it makes completely no sense to buy intel mid range cpu anymore. If you don't have the budget for 7700k just get any ryzen R5 you want and you can afford... The BIOS updates were coming every week, the RAM support and speeds is greatly increased.

Why use 2666Mhz with the 7500? B250 boards only support 2400Mhz. Who in their right mind, buys a $200 LOCKED i5, and pairs with a $100 motherboard and $100 of RAM. Might as well just spend an extra $50 and get the 7600K at that point...

A lot of people saying Intel beat AMD but forget the fact that 60 fps is the golden zone for gaming. Only games such as CSGO or Overwatch need over 120 fps but i doubt most of these people even have monitors supporting the frames.
The Ryzen beats i5 in content creation, is cheaper and offers 90% of the performance in gaming compared to the i5.
AMD is the clear winner with the option of overclocking and a decent cooler.

Bought my i5 7600k about 2 months before AMD's Ryzen came out. Tbh I don't really mind, the extra threads would've been nice, but getting the PC up and running probably 3-4 months earlier was nice as well.

its really unfair to benchmark a locked i5 and a overclocked r5 1400. Ryzen overclocked will obviously perform better than a i5 thats locked. In most games intel will perform better.

i like having something that is not 100% used. It gives space for lot of improving and it has the future. i5 hit the limit and only 4 treads is gonna be past soon :). i ordered 1400 , your 1.33v @ 4.050Ghz gives me optimistic thought. We ll see, we ll see...

1400 is not for 1070. Not even 7500. if you buy 1070 you d go for 1600 or 7600k at least. You need to test rx 4(5)70 - 4(5)80, 1060 with it and you ll see different results.

By your results the pentium g4560 destroys the I5 7600 according to benchmarks from all other videos therefore i come to the conclusion that you are another snake oil con artist profiting off a ryzen hype. Shame.

AMD proved themselves capable after so many years of being beat up. It paid off. I wonder what Intel's next move is gonna be.

great video very enligtening, im planning to build a new pc since mine is now 8 years old lol, i wasn´t sure if use a r5 1400 or a i5 and this video help me alot, however i have some question the OC on the ryzen cpu was made whit the stock cooler the " wraith stealt? in what termals range you work whit the OC.
and finally do you thing that the diference in fps favouring the i5 are result of the r5 simmingly better optimization for newers API (vulkan and dx12) ?.

I think the 1400 is a really great cpu for the price! I'm personally going with the Ryzen 5 1600 for my asrock B350 platform because of the additional cores and threads but even with the 1400 you would have a killer gaming system. Not to mention that you can overclock with the stock heatsink! Idk about pushing it to 4.0 ghz on the stock cooler but I have heard that the stock heatsink is sufficient in cooling Ryzen cpus when overclocking

how the hell do you get 623 on cinebench with that cpu? I see people getting like 560

The 1500x is only 20€ more, I see no reason to buy the 1400 ever.
