Crazy how the English weren’t able to fully conquer France during this war. It seems like every battle for the first few decades went “and then the inferior English rabble decimated the entire French army” France was able to just keep hangin on until the English collapse back home

How the hell French economy didn't collapse with all the raids English did to them? If English really burnt everything and killed everyone on sight how could French recovered so quick?

Is it wrong to assume that civilian casualty might not be as big as it sounded? Maybe most of them flet their villages/towns before English army arrived?
