Confidential mode? More like Google's way of saying "For you eyes (and ours!) only. Read the fine print.

This seems to give a false sense of security. The recipient can always just take a photo of whatever you send them, and gmail would have no way to stop them from doing that.

pretty sure there's tech now to prevent screenshots, like banking apps
