Hey Brother.... hope all is well with you and the family.. I'm enjoying your video....later
ОтветитьAlways enjoy seeing a new upload. 👍🏻
ОтветитьWhen making a strap for an Omega clasp, you want both ends of the strap to be about the same length. The Omega clasp has a contour to it that’s supposed to follow the curve of the wrist’s side, so it shouldn’t land on the middle of the wrist like a regular pin buckle. The measurement for example should be something like 105/100 not something like 120/80. Just thought I’d share that with you. You also want to keep the top leather of straps at 1mm thick. The Omega clasp will not function properly if you use thicker leather at the turnback. The buttons will catch on thicker leathers because there will be too much friction for the buttons to release after they’re pressed, meaning the clasp won’t always lock securely. The overall thickness of the strap where there’s no padding should be about 2.2mm to fit cleanly through the slot of the clasp. I noticed it was a tad thick and didn’t clear the slot easily. I also make straps, I’m in the Orlando area.
Ответитьas usual i love it great video again michael
ОтветитьGreat! You have put a few videos over the last three weeks. Love watching your show on a Saturday. I'm just a watch enthusiast and I love leather straps, so I don't have much experience in what's right it wrong. Just wanted to know if you have a specific way when cutting the strap material from a chip. My inexperienced eye tell me there's a waste of material involved. Maybe you can shed some light in your next video. Take care my friend.
ОтветитьLove your shows Mike!! I get so many compliments on the watch straps you have made for me! You are so precise!
ОтветитьLove your show Mr. Knapp!! I was curious what acrylic templates you use and where you got them? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьKOT = As always great presentation , nice watch cool strap for the Rose Gold
ОтветитьPromo-SM 💦
ОтветитьYou have an incredible skill sir. Appreciate your videos showing the process.
ОтветитьHi M. do you shave the sides of the piece you use as the bolster material to make the strap thicker?
ОтветитьToo many imperfections and corner-cutting on the final product to charge this much... Take a look at stoneforgold or even seventhcreation, how they make straps and level of details on those.
ОтветитьMichael, watching this video again because haven't seen a new one in awhile....Awesome looking straps as usual.... Really enjoy your videos... Hope all is well with you there in Florida.... Greg in IN
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьHay I bought a watch strap from you a few weeks ago and didn’t get any confirmation on the order?
ОтветитьThere are 6 months. We are waiting to see you Michael on a new episode of the greatest show! We wish you all the best!
