The apartment I'm going to move into has never had a dishwasher before. Is there something I have to do in order to connect it that isn't in this video? Since I assume this is for modern apartments.

No mention of the rubber sheet supplied. No mention of the tabs cut from the rubber sheet which are supposed to be installed under the fascia hanger brackets.

One question that your manual and videos don't address regarding the metal plate that is attached to the underside of the worktop; is that supposed to be attached to stone/granite worktops too? Surely one would not be nailing into granite. Is it just for wooden worktops, to protect them from the steam?

Anyone know what the large sheet of rubber that the instructions say to stick along the bottom of the door (before the panel goes on) is for? And what to do with it once it is on? Can't see any instructions. Just tuck it behind the toekick when that goes on?

Thanks for the video. I'll never understand why they don't make the door articulate a bit upwards and outwards so that it doesn't clip the kick trims, so you wouldn't have to cut an unsightly notch out of it.
