Who's ready for Alpha 21?
ОтветитьWarning to new players: Animals like boars are tough and can mortally wound you. Stay up high and shoot them from safety.
One of the types of hostile groups that can spawn is a pack of 5 zombified dogs. These are resilient and can quickly run you down, so be aware of this possibility when in wide open areas with no nearby place to climb out of reach.
It's a good idea to check your environment out and build a small watchtower in any area you'll be scavenging for a while in case you need a fast getaway.
I can't wait
Ответитьin a21 you cant unlock any schematics with perk points.
Ответитьthis guide is misleading do not listen to this :) you can only unlock recipies by reading magazines in a21. why would you make a video like this?
ОтветитьA Tip I might add:
When choosing the POI for the base, make sure that it has a second story or an attic and that you can easily secure the way up. Alternatively, you can use a flat roof but then you have to make sure that this roof is not made from half blocks or plates because otherwise everything floats.
crappy update if you ask me that ruins the game...
ОтветитьAnother heads up as well make sure when you're doing those missions if or when you're doing those missions if you've Built-in a POI That is near the trader Make sure it's not your base because it will reset all your loot and gear inside of the POI Does anyone know if we have to start a brand new game on alpha 21
ОтветитьAlpha 20.7 footage .... Bruh
ОтветитьYou dont need a cement mixer to make cobblestone xD
ОтветитьYou got the same perk info for alpha 20 and 21 a lill jumbled but all good
ОтветитьIf your super new and don’t know never attack bear unless you have at least an automatic gun 💀
ОтветитьI generated the world and spawn on a tier 5 poi and while going to trader a bear chased and killed me :)
ОтветитьYou should just title this A20 and redo one for A21 before it gets out of experimental, so much of this video has no bearing in A21 now.
ОтветитьSorry, but it can’t be said enough, this isn’t an a21 beginner guide…
Ответить10 years in Alpha... 💀💀💀
ОтветитьI started playing 7d2d in Alpha 21 and when I began, my friends had been playing for a long time. We played together and while we had fun, I didn't learn very much. I decided to go solo to see if I could learn some things that would help me progress through the game. Here are some tips you can use that I found to be very very helpful.
1). Torches can be placed on and picked up from walls! This tip is VERY useful when doing POI's and the weather changes and it gets ridiculously dark inside the POI and you don't yet have a headlamp or a weapon flashlight. Put your torch on a wall for light.
2). Quests!! These are the absolute best method of getting what you need throughout the game. Hands down. The game has a VERY large amount of randomness to it's rewards. You can attempt to target specific things, like.. handguns or shotguns, through perk choices, but quest rewards will get you those high-level rewards far earlier than you will ever be able to craft them. I got a tier 6 Assault rifle before I had 15 points in the rifle perk books. Same for Shotguns. I had 30 points in Shotgun but got a tier 6 auto shotgun as a quest reward. The money you earn can be used to buy food, water, materials, etc. (I suggest a water purifier for the dew collector early)>
3). For solo play, intellect is the best tree. Bar none. It provides you with faster access to vehicles and workbenches with the points you invest. It gives you more dukes and double rewards (eventually). Although the only weapon tied to this tree is the baton, don't be fooled into thinking this is a bad choice. The rewards you get from questing will outpace any other tree rapidly.
4). Don't waste too many points in the higher level of the trees. Putting 6 points into a perk tree for level 9 and 10 is usually a waste of points. Those TOP tier benefits are marginal for their cost and I would suggest that you ONLY try to get to that level if the benefit is absolutely worth it. (Looking at you Daring Adventurer). Otherwise, spend your points in other trees for cheaper talents. lvl 2 Parkour is amazing. A few points in Fortitude go a long way etc. Only aim to max out a tree much later in the game. I am lvl 55 and the only tree I have more than 5 points in (meaning 5 points in the base line of the perk tree) is Intelligence.
5). Aim to move past melee weapons around level 24-26. Melee weapons are fun.. but once you get to higher level POI's (tier 4 and 5), the POI's have scripted events that send many zombies at you simultaneously. Waiting for them to close in to use a melee weapon can often get you killed. This is especially true when you start doing infested clears. People may die on the hill of how useful melee weapons are... but.. not getting in melee range is the absolute BEST way to avoid dying. Get a Fergettin Elixer and move your points into ranged weapons. By that time you will have all the materials you need to keep them maintained.
6). Base and Horde base: These do NOT need to be separate. Many will say.. you should have a base and a horde base. This isn't necessary. What IS necessary, is that your base provide the zombies a path to you that is a path you choose them to take. The easiest way to do this is build a platform about 5 blocks off the ground, and then a single block line about 5 blocks long and with a set of stairs that come up to your location. The Pass N Gas #4 is a perfect POI for a base. The attic offers a great starting point for a safe location while you can build out from there. I've gotten to game Day 35 horde nights and unless they get considerably harder, every zombie being irradiated.. all screamers.. or something.. I don't see defense being a problem. Electrical traps and bullets make it easy.
7). Food is not as tough as it initially seems. Getting the cookbooks for the recipes is harder than getting the food you need. Cooked meat is easy to come by with rabbits and chickens being plentiful. Getting a cooking pot and a grill is, again, harder than collecting food items. All that being said, a trader will almost always have these 2 items if you are having a tough time. Farming is a MASSIVE waste of time. It's not a good idea. Don't waste your time and points with farming. I have all the high level foods I can handle simply by doing quests and buying canned goods from the traders and vending machines. Farming needs a rework. Badly. Just do quests.. buy the canned stuff.. skin animals.. and keep that murky water to get it boiled. Also.. red tea is cheap.. very cheap to make.
grease monkey makes repair kits repair more of vehicle damage engineering makes crafting faster thats it
ОтветитьClarification: You can’t unlock recipes by assigning perk points, only through magazines.
