Hey i was wondering if anyone may know some tips for me on transitioning as I’m new to drifting and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. So I tried transitioning today for the first time in a very open lot since I got my diff welded two days ago and when I tried to do it for some reason the car felt like it wanted to spin out super easily even if I was immediately at full lock holding it. What I was doing was I tried just turning with a small flick and clutch kicking and I think 4,000 rpm because my car doesn’t break loose that well with small clutch kicks in the dry and after that I’d do a little swing pretending it’s a corner then I went to turn the other way and clutch kicked again and I get full lock and spin out almost immediately and I tried it again and did the same thing sept I then backed off the car as soon as I hit full lock and I did that and still spun around so I tried decreasing the gas more in the drift and then it was fuck but I was at like 2,500 rpm and the car didnt sound happy at all like it was allowing me to hold the drift a little longer though it felt like I my car was wanting to then straighten or kind of slowl bog and as soon as I get it a jab of the gas it kind of helped so I did a little clutch kick and it spun out immediately and I’m just not sure if I’m just needing to work on throttle control more or if I’m clutch kick at the wrong times or what because I know I could say I need more angle, but people drift 350’s all day stock no issue yet I’m having trouble unless it’s a single small turn or donuts or a round about so I don’t want to make excuse and try to hide behind mods especially since I know the car is more capable right now than I am. If anyone has any tip I’d greatly appreciate them and I hope explaining what I was doing will help maybe point out a error I’m doing. Also my car is just a stock 350z de with a exhaust and new tires and welded diff other than that it’s 100% stock besides a hot Intake 😂

Ответитьwhich car is perfect for drift!?
Ответитьsubscribed. Looks very easy watching but gotta do it myself.
One question though. I see many rear wheel drive cars get the rear loose in the middle of a sharp turn then end up wrecking on the opposite side curb. If you ended up being in that situation, what should you do? most of the time, drivers get scared then lift the accel, then end up wrecking.
Thank you for this video soooooooooooo helpful!!👍👍
Ответитьfake i cant do it so must be fake kappa

From Nepal.
Won't apply to experienced drifters, but for newbies, it is not a great idea to practice at a track with trees around.
Ответитьdude hold a camp/contest to learn from u in person
ОтветитьChelsea out here destroying assumptions that you need a crap ton of horsepower and torque to drift. Awesome series of tutorials man, very informative and clear, no BS straight- to-the-point stuff. And the best thing about these videos is that it's an actual pro driver behind all of this reaching out to newcomers and trying to help people join in on the sliding action. You're a legend man, cheers.
Ответитьcan i do this with a stock e36 m43b18 coupe? :D

ОтветитьGreat series!
ОтветитьIs it stock e46 ?
ОтветитьIts interesting watching this and seeing all your movements in the rain, because I was just at FDLB and sitting in Grand stand 16, so I could see the outer and final clipping points of turn 10. All my friends and I commented on how much smoother and more composed your rain drifting was compared to the rest of the field. Not going to lie i'm a Tuerck fan boy, but after watching you drift in the rain your my #2. Lets see some more wins this season!
ОтветитьWhat would cause a car to want to keep going straight when transitioning? It will catch super hard when I'm transitioning even on wet roads it is the most violent thing ever. Any suggestions?
Ответитьany pointers on drifting a turbo miata?
Ответитьit's gd u done this coz I'm self-taught
ОтветитьDude these are great videos! I've noticed while drifting that sometimes I have trouble keeping up while in tandem (or trying to tandem, haha). Any tandem type videos planned?
