Totally a garbage repair there was still rust under the paint and you should have gotten rid of more of the rust with the grinder
ОтветитьI wouldn’t let this guy touch my car with a microfiber cloth, terrible paint job.
Ответитьthis is why u dont get ur car to random people😂 Clear difference between car and fender, no need to paint the whole fender, didnt get rid of all the rust, wetsanded filler...
ОтветитьChe lavoro demmerda......
ОтветитьNice work
ОтветитьHello guys, i was following step by step, but painted color is much darker like car color and it is obvious. Of course i bought color by the original code, but i think car color is lighter cause car is old and sun work hard. How to deal with it? Thank you for your advices.
ОтветитьYou’re only error was making it look better than the rest of the panels. Ahahahhaah
Thank you, time to take me rusty new van to the shop.
Waste of time unless your just flipping the car.
ОтветитьMan....That must have rusted up pretty fast...
Several "how not to's" here...
Che lavoro di m.........
ОтветитьI can use it on the hood of the front car, I also have a blue Volkswagen Passat b5 and I bought 1 car spray extreme automotive petrol resistant lacquer super smooth protection for oil and petrol
ОтветитьPlease let me know what part I need to buy for this job ?
ОтветитьHaving somewhere to do it, away from the wind is key lol. If you take your car to the spray shop, they charge an absolute fortune. It isn’t that difficult. I did mine recently, but I drove it about to early and the dirt has stuck to lol doh 🙄
ОтветитьNow 5 years later, anyone thinks it has completly rusted apart? I gave this repair 1 week before it would start to bubble up with rust again.
ОтветитьThis is certainly not DIY
ОтветитьAll that rest will be back in less than year
ОтветитьIt really pisses me off to see these repairs done without using a rust converter. Be sure…if you don’t, or if you don’t use a proper Rust inhibiting primer like Hammerite No1 that rust is coming back. I did a rust repair on my son’s girlfriends car 3 years ago. Sanded as much rust off as possible. Kurust was applied, then Hammerite No1 followed by paint and clear. Her car is still 100% free after 3 years in UK weather.
ОтветитьQuick bodge job. Need to attack the rust from behind too 🫣🫣
ОтветитьPrva zima i eto ga opet isto
ОтветитьThat’s brutal!
ОтветитьOlyan hülye vagy, hogy az már fáj. Szerinted a sárvédő mögött nem rozsdás?
ОтветитьBad work
ОтветитьVW has a 12 year warranty on rust holes ..
ОтветитьThis is how NOT to fix rust..😅
ОтветитьOk guys tips please so if I hand sand the rust off my fenders and wheel wells then use some body filler sand it will that work as quick dui
ОтветитьWet sand the filler or not ? Let's think about it:
The body filler's mineral content is basically "Talc" or Hydrated Magnesium Silicate, it is hygroscopic, there is it absorbs water from the atmosphere, so yep, the Body Filler has water in it.
I would DTM (Direct to metal primer, usually has a greenish color to it, I believe it has Zinc Chromate) on the bare metal, before applying the filler, but if the rust treatment means phosphoric acid, you kinda can get away with it.
Bad job
ОтветитьNiby dobrze ale różnica kolorów bardzo duża.
Ответитьi tried it something like this n rust came back. I didnt use primer is that y?
ОтветитьIf it were a newer car it probably wouldn’t be rusty lol. Haha only taking the piss mate I live in Australia non salted roads in a dryer climate but back in the UK cars are lucky to see a ten year life which is sad to me 😢
ОтветитьI would spray paint the rust part and not do anything of the other stuff
ОтветитьWhat was ur rust treatment ?
Ответитьlooks 2 rich or shiny mate,, but beats my effort,, nice job
ОтветитьHonestly this was a street job,
But as the comments above stated this rust will be seeing you sooner than expected.
Hello, how long this repair lasted? I'm planning to do something like this on my car.
ОтветитьGood job 👏
ОтветитьYou missed the most important, final stage (which was why your colour match to the rest of the car was so off)..... After the stages you did, you need to go over the whole wing (not fender!) with a medium rubbing compound; go over the newly painted section, and the upper wing with it's original colour. As long as your clearcoat was left to try properly, this will not take it all off, but it will skim it, to make it better match the clearcoat (and top paint) layer of the original paint. Then polish the whole car; the treated area and all other areas with a wax polish. You will get a staggeringly better colour match by doing this final post-painting stage.
ОтветитьIt's not a fender here in Ireland.... it's a wing!!! Why are you "Americanizing"? Shoyt!
ОтветитьHolly shit, that's a terrible job.
ОтветитьTe has dejado en la aleta masillar un trozo... que al lijar la masilla se ha caido
Ответить👍🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🙏
ОтветитьWaw good job thanks
ОтветитьThe interesting thing with all these rust remover videos that uses some kind of rust slowdown solution never tell you what it is or what you can find it. It is actually the most important thing. All else are self explainatory. "Just use some rust slowdown magic solution". Never tell you what it is :p
ОтветитьColor won’t match.door
ОтветитьYou could've done so much better job with it, spending only some time more
ОтветитьРжавчина не убрана! Нарушееие тех процесса! Много лишнего материала использовано! Короче горе мастер!
Ответитьcould you use a rust remover gel such as jenolite and normal sand paper instead of using a flat disc sander?
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
