Another helpful educational video. Maybe use technique instead of trick! Thanks Brian.

That's a great little dehaze trick for the glow! Very nice!

These masking tools need to be added to Photoshop so we can use them on layers. Not just in CameraRaw or Lightroom.

That is a technique I have not used before, so thanks for highlighting

Using negative dehaze is a great idea. I've also found that if you want to use an inverted radial gradient mask to create a vignette, bringing down the whites instead of the brightness can work better. Also, when dodging or burning - especially people's faces - can work better if you adjust the whites rather than the brightness.

Just a little out of topic. I have a question. Why not all Lightroom mobile new features exist on any iPad? For example, I have iPad Air 3 which has A12 Bionic chip, and when I watch your videos about new features of Lightroom mobile for iPad i see that almost non of them available equally on every iPad and what is confusing? on web when you trying to find any info about this the answer says that any iPad that support Lightroom mobile latest version it will have all the new features but it does’t. And yes I updated my iPad to the latest version. I do not understand A12 Bionic already not powerful enough to handle these new features?

Thanks Brian. This is a great tip and timely for me too. I'm doing a graduation shoot next month and your video has helped me with an issue I thought I was going to have.
Edit: I use ACR which has the same mask editing.

I have used masks before but had NO IDEA how flexible they can be until now. Thanks for this video! I really look forward to trying 'combining' of the masks now.
Again...well done!

Thank you, Bryan for that tip. Now I’m going to go back and look at the pictures taken of my deceased wife and see if I can put a glow behind her some of her pictures. I’ve taken your Lightroom everywhere course and I really enjoyed it. I moved away from Lightroom Classic. I just signed up for your masking course.

Be sure to hold that option key to adjust the 4 sides of the radial, independently !

Great video. One question which isn't really related - how did you set up your "desktop/LR window" so that the tools icons (mask icon, crop icon healing icon etc)are parked vertically on the right side of the window? Has that overall set up? I know you have simply hidden the left panel (Navigator, History etc). Thanks!
