***IS IT DIFFICULT IN THE BEGINNING? I had two, beautiful, literally antique, step end tables on Facebook marketplace for a month before i donated it. They were in great condition, was selling at a great price. What went wrong?

For example, certain styles that sell best, how much is too much to spend on a piece and whether to paint or refinish certain pieces, along with any other important criteria I have yet to consider.

It's worth knowing that furniture that isn't solid wood isn't necessarily cheaply made. That's especially true of mid-century pieces. Pressed wood pieces with a real wood veneer can be quality pieces that don't need to be covered in paint.
If the veneer is in good condition and doesn't need repair its likely it can be stripped, stained, and refinished like a solid wood piece. Just don't be too aggressive with the sanding.

I have a bedside table that I can’t access the hardware and it’s kind of loose. Should I pry off the piece of wood in the way? I don’t have a way of stapling it back in. Would packingthe area around the hardware with putty make it tighter? Thanks, I’m sure you’re super busy. P.S.: I think y’all need your own tv show. Thanks again!

Where do you get the bags that cover the drawers?!

You are remarkably talented, congratulations? You do fabulous work. But I do have a question: Is painting over all the wood because people are afraid or don’t want to spend enough energy to actually refinish the wood and make it beautiful? Taking away yellow oak color does not mean you have to paint for instance. Why are so many people painting wooden furniture? Likewise, the color gray may hot right now, very popular, but it is seriously a depressing color… In a few years, people are going to have to redo their houses and furniture to get rid of the dead gray.

I literally live in the same city and I tried flipping a piece. I have no idea how she gets these pieces to go on the marketplace in our city. It's a ton of scam messages on there and I can't get my piece to go.

If you're going to "flip" something do it with something worth your time. Real estate, luxury cars... not this.

I noticed you didnt sand down some of the nooks and crannies. Did you sand them off camera or is okay to leave some of it unsanded?

The Valspar Cabinet and Furniture Oil Enriched Enamel is water clean up. I am using it for kitchen cabinets that I am building. It is self leveling and I love the finish from a spray gun. I recommend it.

Can you discuss which wood fillers to use. Here in Canada we don’t have bondo for rebuilding wood corners etc.

Ithink the reason you're having a hard time selling them is because it's priced a little high for Marketplace. Marketplace is supposed to be a digital yard sale... and yard sales are priced to sell,cheap and inexpensive. I think that if you had those two pieces listed somewhere else you would have an easier time...idk but they look great

Ive been for several months now thinking on starting my own flipping furniture business, any advice on how to start if you leave in an apartment, with no patio or balcony.. please advise.. i work overnight and im always watching your videos, I literally spend over 6 hours watching you.. Huuu man… if I’m being honest I think you made the nightstand worse you ruined that beautifully finished wood with paint. Why didn’t you just remove the stain and put new stain finish 😢

I like to use Awesome to clean my furniture. Its concentrated and only cost 1.25 from dollar store.
