Loved your reminder why sanding/priming is so important - doing a good job can bring repeat customers or referrals!
Ответить***IS IT DIFFICULT IN THE BEGINNING? I had two, beautiful, literally antique, step end tables on Facebook marketplace for a month before i donated it. They were in great condition, was selling at a great price. What went wrong?
Ответитьyou did not stir the primer ???

ОтветитьI love this video. I am doing a flip for my house and who knows! You are very easy to follow and listen to.
ОтветитьGreat Video! So helpful as I am trying to flip furniture as a side job for extra income. Since you stated that uoh would not say these are refurbished (unless they asked) Would you list these items as new or used on fb marketplace when selling?
ОтветитьNew flipper here and wanted to say I really appreciate how informative and comprehensive your videos are. I know they will be super helpful for my venture into the world of flipping furniture being a success.
If I may make a video request??😊 Could you possibly make one on how to best identify a piece as a good potential flip? For example, certain styles that sell best, how much is too much to spend on a piece and whether to paint or refinish certain pieces, along with any other important criteria I have yet to consider.
And if that video already exists. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction to finding it.
Thanks so much for your consideration!!
Do you ever paint inside the drawers too?
ОтветитьHey, maybe I can get some one on one lessons from you
ОтветитьIt's worth knowing that furniture that isn't solid wood isn't necessarily cheaply made. That's especially true of mid-century pieces. Pressed wood pieces with a real wood veneer can be quality pieces that don't need to be covered in paint.
If the veneer is in good condition and doesn't need repair its likely it can be stripped, stained, and refinished like a solid wood piece. Just don't be too aggressive with the sanding.
I have a bedside table that I can’t access the hardware and it’s kind of loose. Should I pry off the piece of wood in the way? I don’t have a way of stapling it back in. Would packingthe area around the hardware with putty make it tighter? Thanks, I’m sure you’re super busy. P.S.: I think y’all need your own tv show. Thanks again!
ОтветитьGod Bless you! Got my first piece! Want to help single mom’s with extras.
ОтветитьHow can you tell what kind of wood or material something is before you sand and paint?
Bendiciones.
ОтветитьWhere do you get the bags that cover the drawers?!
ОтветитьYou are remarkably talented, congratulations? You do fabulous work. But I do have a question: Is painting over all the wood because people are afraid or don’t want to spend enough energy to actually refinish the wood and make it beautiful? Taking away yellow oak color does not mean you have to paint for instance. Why are so many people painting wooden furniture? Likewise, the color gray may hot right now, very popular, but it is seriously a depressing color… In a few years, people are going to have to redo their houses and furniture to get rid of the dead gray.
ОтветитьDo you get paint online?
ОтветитьHi! I’m totally inspired right now, I have a question I want to paint my twin girls twin beds, what paint do you suggest and what would be the process? Do I have to sand them?
Please help!!!!
Where do you get your stuff? i might want to do the same.
ОтветитьDo you hand sand the edges of the drawers?
ОтветитьExcelent video. I'm kinda confused what sands to use. How can I tell what is a light medium or heavy sand! Thank you :)
Also if the furniture has varnish what is your suggestion to remove it!
This was the BEST video!!! lOVE!!!!
ОтветитьI literally live in the same city and I tried flipping a piece. I have no idea how she gets these pieces to go on the marketplace in our city. It's a ton of scam messages on there and I can't get my piece to go.
ОтветитьI tried to get the PDF but there was no link to it there. I have signed up but nothing came up. Does it get sent to the email address? Or am I missing something. Love watching these basic videos. Really helps a lot. That's why I want to get my hands on the 4Ps! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьIf you're going to "flip" something do it with something worth your time. Real estate, luxury cars... not this.
ОтветитьHello, where can I find cheap sand paper?
ОтветитьThis was amazing! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhy and when do you water down your paint?
ОтветитьThink I would rather use a good paint sprayer than brush
ОтветитьGreat transformation!
Well done!
I started my first piece yesterday. I just have to touch it up and clear coat it to prevent wear and tear. Thank you for making these videos. I am interested to know what area you live in.
Ответитьso you dont have to seal the paint after coat number 2?
ОтветитьOMG, I was stressing worrying about you dropping those cans. 😅 I'm so stupid.
ОтветитьIs it not hard to get to youre car? I mean very heavy ect. ? How can you do it?
ОтветитьThis video was great but frustratingly long
Ответитьwow....youre not honest, two videos in and twice you either scammed the store and or the thrift store. 😮
ОтветитьHope you can help me. I've restored furniture pcs for yrs, but want to get more serious. I've nit done a PC in a long time, so I would be starting from scratch. What products do I need? What tools? Pls help!
ОтветитьI noticed you didnt sand down some of the nooks and crannies. Did you sand them off camera or is okay to leave some of it unsanded?
ОтветитьI absolutely loved this video, thank you!!
ОтветитьI was asked if I wanted old furniture from someone’s house and I said yes so now I’m going to try to flip it and see how it goes! Definitely using this video as my guide😁
ОтветитьThe Valspar Cabinet and Furniture Oil Enriched Enamel is water clean up. I am using it for kitchen cabinets that I am building. It is self leveling and I love the finish from a spray gun. I recommend it.
ОтветитьCan you discuss which wood fillers to use. Here in Canada we don’t have bondo for rebuilding wood corners etc.
ОтветитьThank you. Your lesson is good and detailed. ❤👏
ОтветитьIthink the reason you're having a hard time selling them is because it's priced a little high for Marketplace. Marketplace is supposed to be a digital yard sale... and yard sales are priced to sell, cheap and inexpensive. I think that if you had those two pieces listed somewhere else you would have an easier time...idk but they look great
ОтветитьHi Lauren. Ive been for several months now thinking on starting my own flipping furniture business, any advice on how to start if you leave in an apartment, with no patio or balcony.. please advise.. i work overnight and im always watching your videos, I literally spend over 6 hours watching you.. (also helps me not to fall asleep😴😴)
ОтветитьHuuu man… if I’m being honest I think you made the nightstand worse you ruined that beautifully finished wood with paint. Why didn’t you just remove the stain and put new stain finish 😢
ОтветитьI like to use Awesome to clean my furniture. Its concentrated and only cost 1.25 from dollar store.
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video. I learned a lot!!!
