ОтветитьI have an issue when I add motion warping it automatically get removed from character components which shows error in TP Character blueprint when I restart UE5. Can u help me with it?
ОтветитьHow would you improve this system by not using the baked in leg movement of the animation to warp toward the target? So like, the character will move toward the target while also moving the legs properly (maybe with stride warping?)? Thanks!

ОтветитьWow! Nice video, this is exactly what I was looking for. I've been messing with a couple of other 'simple' methods of doing this and no matter what there is always some way to get the two characters out of sync or angle, or something, unless you just rip one of them into the right place (which looks bad). But this looks like EXACTLY what I want. I'm going to set this up tomorrow and fix my animation woes. Thank you for your clean and clear presentation.

ОтветитьAmazing as always Stephen. I am a big fan of Sleeping dogs' combat system and i want to make a game with that type of combat system but what i lack is the skill to do the interaction animation between 2 or more characters but now using this warp component, I will definitely try it out.
ОтветитьI'm not sure if you'll see this but would it be possible for you to do a follow up video to this one, which explains the process of doing a takedown but with specific weapons. So specific animations play for specific weapons on takedown? Kinda like Manhunt. Having difficulty with this one haha! Thanks!
