Never use with no one in driving seat..imagine getting your shirt sleeve caught up in it and no one to stop engine.. Nightmare. Other than that good idea. Next time I'm at my winter cabin trapping furs I'll try it out . . . is it a fast fit on to studs ...would make sense to fit two studs or three on a five stud pattern . . .

Holy cow, what a dangerous invention. Why would anyone think that is safe. Especially if your are wearing glove and long sleeves. I wouldn't even want to watch someone use this devise.

Dont do this. It would kill your differential under best case but tilted up it is probly starving the spider gears for oil. Best to hook it to a cheap motor and dont F up your truck for a few logs. I just swing a maul, its good for your back and nerves.

Anyone else notice that he almost fell on it.

Guy I used to work with showed me one of his fingers.... it was shorter and only had two knuckles...... He had his machine on the slowest cycle possible, and was lubing the transit shaft with his finger, when someone said something to him.... the carriage came back, and cut his finger in half. They put it back together... missing the middle. Lesson, don't do dangerous things..... and don't look away while you are doing them.

I had the same crap on the wheel, I still connected the branch cutter to the wheel, then I changed the car and the device remained.

That works pretty good and not nearly as dangerous as some of the other home brew splitters. However, you might burn up your truck engine if you let it run like that too long.
