you mean gay inside
ОтветитьCore 2 Duo are different CPUs. They are more energy efficient and run MUCH cooler than those Prescott. For AMD, if not gaming, I'm looking at the Sempron environement. I don't know them well, so that's why they're my ext target.
ОтветитьHi solveg18. Did you use air cooling or go one better and get water?
ОтветитьThat seems kinda BS... I got to 3.6GHz on my 640 and it ran just fine... hot and crappy performance because it was a P4, but still fine...
ОтветитьYeah... I've always questioned Tom's Hardware's credibility... they don't know what they're doing alot of the time. Everyone knows AS5 is the best thermal paste... course, I think I heard of something else that was better, but, only 1 person out of hundreds knew about it. :)
Ответитьhahah i thought so too
ОтветитьI had that processor got a new qx6700 @ 3.85 ghz on air ^_^
ОтветитьAlso I had that cpu, I got it to 4.1 ghz on the boxed cooler... so yeah and mine ran quite cold o.0
Ответитьi got one of these...wiht a betterthanstock zalman cooler, it idles at 49C and tops at 75C under load. system temps are even 28C. seems to withstand heat well though...ive had it 3 years with these high temps
Ответитьmy 660 is at 3,6ghz... no problems in 3 years here
ОтветитьYOU DIDNT PUT NO THERMAL PASTE
ОтветитьSPOKE TOO SOON =(
Ответитьare you idiot ?? thermal paste is on "BOX CPU COOLER" NOOB
ОтветитьPentium dual cores don't overheat coz it a core 2 duo with half L2 disabled so only 1 or 2MB L2. Pentium M don't overheat as well. ONLY NETBURST Pentiums overheat like pentium 4, pentium D and pentium D extreme. Celerons I always hated them coz they are slow.
ОтветитьIt like impossible for core 2 duo! I tryed it for an hour under stress test and it couldn't go higher that 61c!
ОтветитьWhere is the thermal paste. I must say that all processors will overheat without thermal plaster!
ОтветитьWhat's the farting sound?
ОтветитьLOL
ОтветитьThermal paste is on the heatsink.
ОтветитьI was like that before but now I have a CNPS9500AT
Ответитьwhats wrong with it? btw my CPU Same as yours is around 75 - 89 degrees on full load with crashes xD
Ответитьwhat is the name on the program :/ :S
ОтветитьI'm stupid. You show proc. and fan/heat sync out of same box. With case open, temp. 27c. Then you put thermal compound on the same heat sync. The meter now shows a higher temp. Yet the program seems to show slightly lower temps with the thermal compound and throttling speeds. Your conclusion: Don't purchase 3 party MBs or coolers. What the F.
ОтветитьI've been running a p4 560 for AWHILE and never had a prob...used a MASSCOOL fan for 775 socket no prob...even while playing games...look on my channel, I have gameplay videos up and my system specs are posted there and on each video....btw no throttles either and never exceeded 71 degrees celsius
ОтветитьWho would use the crappy intel fan anyway?
ОтветитьWhat a load of bullshit.
Ответитьwhy don't install case fan
ОтветитьI have one of these 90c it shut off.
ОтветитьLOL.... it's not overheating.... this is just natural to pentium 4s..... coz mine is the socket 478 northwood pentium 4 and it get really hot..... with orthos...
Ответитьwhat's the background music?
Ответитьdat music also i have two of these cpus :3 and yes everything in this video is true
Ответитьi have pentium 4 560 3.6ghz and i play almost all games..... i like my pc <3
ОтветитьReplace the FHS with the Pentium D Version, bigger copper or to Core 2 Extreme FHS!
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me what the background music is, please?
ОтветитьIf anyone still looking for the music used in this video, here is: goo . gl / JtnnjZ
Dragonfly - Silent Running
Thanks to Saga Musix from modarchive for finding it for me.
PS: There is 3 extra channels muted in this video, if you mute channels 7, 18 and 19 from the module, you will get same music like in this video!
Music: Dragonfly - Silent Running.
Ответитьwho else cringed when he put the cpu in the socket like that???
ОтветитьThis is gold!
ОтветитьMe in 2004: Laughs in AMD A64
ОтветитьMaybe if you wouldn't have used some garbage 3rd party thermal compound it would have run much cooler. Just my two cents. Also, I have encountered mounting issues in the past with those push pin intel stock coolers where one side was not properly seated against the IHS , so that could also be why it was running quite toasty. I'd say if you were running one of those chips back in the day, (or any chip that's based on intel's Prescott architecture really) use a quality thermal compound along with a good 3rd party heatsink. Even using a quality thermal compound with the stock cooler might be enough to drop a few degrees off of those temperatures.
ОтветитьYou 2006 boys getting nervous over 70 degrees C. My air cooled 4790k @ 4.8ghz is laughing it's ass off. Also the Pentium D was so much worse for thermals, it was literally two P4's in one. I have a Pentium D 945 in an old Optiplex GX620 rig. Those Dell's back then came with optional copper piped CPU coolers. Keeps it nice and cool.
ОтветитьHere I am, 16 years in the future, typing this on my 3.2 GHz laptop
ОтветитьWait a second? This CPU is overheating while heatsink is cool, did the thermal paste block the transfer of heat?
ОтветитьI love old Tom's hardware videos.
ОтветитьPresHot 🔥
ОтветитьPrescott? MORE LIKE PRESSHOT
ОтветитьCooling 5GHz then: liquid nitrogen
Cooling 5GHz now: F A N
Same thing happen on intel core i9 14900ks
