How To Fix a Toshiba TV Black Screen

Had no idea unplugging a tv for a minute Is an alternative way to reset 🙃 fixed my issue! Thank you!

My screen is just black I can bearly see some words but I can’t get to settings

Basically Toshiba TV’s are a pile of 💩as as Hisense. Bought both unfortunately both in bin.

Mine turns on, toshiba logo come on and then the screen goes black. Its not like the screen turns itself off, it just goes black. No buttons on the remote do anything, and the power light flashes green and red.

My green light is on for my tv but no picture of sound is showing at all. Can’t use the remote because I can’t see the screen as it’s black. Unplugged everything and still nothing.

I took my ps4 and firestick which were plugged into back of tv,put them into different DMI sockets on tv that fixed black screen problem

Mine is a 4k fire tv 50 inch, its all black when turnt on. Blue light works, sound works, can here fire stick sounds when changing inputs just no picture tried all these methods idk what ELSE to do.

I have a toshiba tv. I turn it on without any cable plugged in, but only i get a dark blue background. I tried unplug it, but no changes. ☹️ Any idea? And the wee turn on light flasing a few times after i turn it on.

My problem is the leds fully work but the backlight doesnt turn on. Maybe a kid or someone turned the backlight down

Mine just shows a red light. When I select input the logo will flash on the screen briefly then the red light in the bottom right corner will blink 5 times then shut off

If it's on for a while and goes black while audio keeps playing, there's a heat issue with a capacitor. Replacing the cap will fix it. I was hoping for a hint as to which capacitor.

I have a Toshiba 49ul2063db smart tv, when the picture is dark and there is a lot of black, I can see pixels and green in the dark areas. Is this a fault or an incorrect setting?

i cant play fortnite it will be like 15 seconds then it will go black then i can still hear and play while the tv is black

My problem is still not fixed, my TV won't take any inputs from my remote except the power button (I have checked the batteries) and after waiting the 60 seconds still just a black screen.

You sound like the help desk. Unplug, wait plug in. I guess I will take the effer apart, find the failing components, replace them and make a video that helps people.
