What could Microsoft do. Just like how marvel makes movies. Make one game that has all the famous Activision first person shooters like overwatch, CALL OF DUTY etc team up with halo and to face an epic multiverse/ gamerverse disaster. Make that one game exclusive and they got another gaming franchise to add to their collection. Then in the game. Overwatch call of duty etc famous characters can go back to their regular timeline in the end of it. Where call of duty is still multiplatform. But Microsoft better not mess it up. Because this is definitely a game nobody wants in the history of failed games. Everybody wants this new gaming franchise to be a success.

I was considering buying gran turismo 7, but then heard it requires online connection to play most modes expect arcade and stores your saves and progress on their servers, so after few years when they shut down mentioned servers, most content and all the progress will be lost, i think i will pass...

Typically when there is less competition there is less innovation so them buying it up could also have some serious negatives.

OK, the FTC ALWAYS looks at these acquisitions and mergers, this is nothing different. This acquisition is not a monopoly. Microsoft will be number three in the world with holding less than 20% of the market total. Anti-trust lawyers and experts have also said there is no reason for the deal to not be approved.
