How to install Kali on USB key with persistence

Hi sir, I regularly watch your video and learn different things. I am a beginner in cybersecurity field. Recently l made a bootable 64 GB pendrive with persistance to install kali linux but When I start my hp laptop boot menu these writing is shown there......

1)USB Hard Drive(UEFI) -VendorCoProductCode(VendorCoProductCode)

2) OS Boot Manager(UEFI)-Windows Boot Manager ( AZ-nvme-A1000-128GB)

3)Boot From EFI

And then when I enter first option then this pou up was shown------

Minimal BASH- like line editing is supported. For the first word,
TAB list possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB list possible devices or file completions.

May I ask you something? I have problems when using Kali Live USB with persistence. Everything went OK until I try to reboot/shut down and my pc freezes with Kali logo on the screen. Can u help me?

I got a usb and I downloaded kali on it, it worked for a day, then I plug back in and berthing is gone, usb doesn’t show up, and it’s saying my “16gb” usb drive has zero gbs won’t let me change the letter or format it, completely broke it

There are two power options in Kali Linux. If I use the other power option (not the one you used) will it still persist? I am kind of afraid of trying it out in case I lose my data. Anyone has a Kali live usb with no data stored yet? If you do, please help me see if restarting with the other power option still allows you to store data.

Whenever I use Rufus, I become stupid and store stuff in the extra partition meant for persistence. When I stopped that, I was good

when installed with usd PRST does it save any info you might have had on there from a different instance (shutting down, switch back to mainOs, and go back to kali)?

What about Shutting down kali will it also work the same way

Thank you, previously I was going off of the kali documentation and they recommended using 'balenaEtcher' instead of Rufus. Rufus is way better and it allows you to set persistence BEFORE writing.

Kali docs have you create a partition and set its persistence but that way the only thing on the install that has persistence is the partition. This is useless because any changes you make to WIFI, desktop, even new packages installed via apt won't save.

Every time I try to boot from my USB it says selected boot device failed. Ive tried all the "fixes" Ive found online and none help. Any idea what the issue could be?

The Rufus become slow when persistence option selected and it stuck on format 100 %

just one question how you install such a heavy system on a usb stick in that less time ? i mean just format that and boom how that happens without actual setup?
