It is always fun to speculate what will be the next WoW expansion but I'd say now with Shadowlands we definitely have some very strong hints in regards to what could happen in the future. On one side we have the constantly expanding, massive cosmology war involving the light, void, first ones and the titans and on the other hand, we have the situation on Azeroth.

We know that the war never ended after BFA and that there is still a lot left to be resolved. However with Anduin missing the High Exarch of the Grand Army of the Light Turalyon is leading the way, who is also of Lordaeron nobility and now the Forsaken are weaker than they ever were in the Eastern Kingdoms. At the same time, we have the constantly expanding lore on the Void Lords and the Naaru and they are showing quite a bit of involvement in the Shadowlands.

So could the Jailer and the culmination of the Shadowlands present us with what could be the next wow expansion?
