Your knowledge is laughable in ancient Mahabharat it was known as Indraprastha
Interesting, it’s eyes opening, the poetry clubs were speaking in English instead of Hindu and they speaking really fast. Now i know Chinese looks alike is Tibetans. Thank you DW.
ОтветитьI hope it is better for the people in the slum now. I am sure the government could find a way to at least provide water, sewer and electricity. And criminals stealing from people who have nothing

ОтветитьJNU's environment and students reminds me of UP (University of the Philippines). It is also a hotbed of student activism
ОтветитьAmericans
ОтветитьJyotsana in JNU was our right wing buddy :)
ОтветитьChitting link
ОтветитьThe faith of the victims spread everywhere.
ОтветитьA slight correction: During the British colonial rule, Delhi was not the capital. Calcutta (present day Kolkata) was. Later on when violent protests began rising in Calcutta, the Brits were forced to leave and they established Delhi as their new capital. Soon after, they left India and Delhi continued to be the capital of independant India.
ОтветитьNice documentary
ОтветитьEveryday we give blessings, yes the USA has its issues, many of them actually, but in comparison to several other countries WE ARE LIVING IN PARADISE.
ОтветитьHow difficult is it to clean the river? Get localized inspectors… every half a mile on both sides. Let them sanction the hell out of all offenders. Prevent bribes and corruption with solid oversight. Come on. A high school kid can solve this.
Ответитьcaste system still is alive as it has always been. only vultures can be proud of this.
ОтветитьIndians are shockingly good-looking. Those actors were another level of beauty.
ОтветитьClass! Super!!
ОтветитьThis is really cool to see as i will spend one year in India.. leaving in 8 months and i can’t wait! I’ve been doing a lot of research on all of India so This documentary was really cool to watch!
ОтветитьThat metal head with the neck brace was a little funny.
Thanks for this - very informative.
They should take those steel containers and make homes and neighborhoods with them...
They can even molt the unusable ones into better sewage & plumbing tanks.
I have been following closely the documentaries of DW, very diverse and full of knowledge. Going on a short business trip to Delhi in September and looking forward to visiting India.
ОтветитьJai Hind🇮🇳🕉
ОтветитьIm feel sorry about the conditions of the majority. Conditions like that triggered revolutions in other countries like, France, Mexico, Russia, China, etc. Indian people is more peaceful and patient. The Indian government don't appreciate that because they are the privileged no the ones facing such terrible conditions.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the graffiti artist who speaks about the diversity of the city?
ОтветитьI know it smell crazy in there
ОтветитьHay quá
ОтветитьThis is a humanitarian kind of reporting. It shows the cause and effects and at the same time finding solutions to problems that were already existing .I hope the Indian government will hear the cries of its people and prioritize and give proper attentions and take actions to these problems.
ОтветитьA complete picture of the capital. From head to toe every aspect was reached briefly. I feel accomplished after listening to this documentary.
ОтветитьI always adore Delhi for its uniqueness and vibration keep it up!
ОтветитьInteresting. I have not been introduced India from this NORMAL prespective. All the things i find on mainstream media are about poverty, slums, religion or pollution. So I have never imagined that India has normal lifestyles like any other countries around the world.
ОтветитьIncredible 🇮🇳
ОтветитьThe Lord Jesus the Son of God heals, so let the world continue to eat and drink with the Lord Jesus Christ baptism. I heal myself in the Lord Jesus Christ name, just by moving and touching the pain saying the Lord Jesus Christ name.
ОтветитьThe situation of yamuna and ganga hurts me so much...
ОтветитьIt's Delhi , not india
ОтветитьPlease! 🤦♂️JNU is no elite university ! I used to hang around there is the 90s sometimes and it’s was at best mediocre .
ОтветитьThis video so perfectly captures the wealth gap of Delhi and India in general. Kudos to the director and all of the team behind this superb documentary :D
ОтветитьThe industrial revolution has inevitable consequences on ecology, the environment, on culture, and on birthrates, because it’s a very expensive process. Hopefully India doesn’t lose too much on its way to becoming self-sufficient and reducing population.
ОтветитьI loved India, really I did. And even though it was badly polluted when I visited last time some years ago, I liked Delhi. There is so much to like about India, the culture, the food. But now India is firmly on the path of Hindu nationalism. Not only are there dusts and fumes in the air, the atmosphere of India is now saturated with hate. Violence against women, oppression of minorities, persistence of caste based persecutions, hate crimes, and unrelenting hatred directed towards neighbours, China, the West, everyone it seems except for war criminal Putin. It is immensely sad, and if the great Mahatma Gandhi were alive today, he too would be immensely sad.
Ответитьher body represents the battle between good and evil and am like eh?
ОтветитьThis is really good work by DW documentary. Keep it up! Documentaries are meant to be realistic communicating exactly what's there and this one precisely does that.
