One of the most powerful scenes in TV
ОтветитьGreat acting
ОтветитьOnce Andre started talking, you could see how much of a facade Damon was putting on. Once he started talking it went away fast and you saw the fear and despair on his face. Clifton Powell owned this scene. Still hard to believe that’s Big Smoke too
ОтветитьLegend
Ответитьlol dude was trying to get him to go to a PC yard 😂😂
ОтветитьWhat episode is this?
ОтветитьHe had to improvise this whole scene
ОтветитьNot all Anti-heroes have wear capes.
Andre made that punk realize the difference between acting hard and being hard.
We need shows like this back. Shows that spoke to the heart instead of those corny, meta, pop-culture trash shows.
ОтветитьReal knowledge from a real one 💯
ОтветитьClifton should have won an award for this scene alone
ОтветитьAndre was seeing himself in that boy and tried to save him from being him for real
ОтветитьHe looked like he was swole up mad but he will realize that first night in prison behind those steel bars that Andre was right!
ОтветитьBefore scared straight, we had Andre.
ОтветитьFun fact did you know that this scene was unscripted he did all this from the top of his head give Uncle Cliff his flowers right now
ОтветитьHow it feels your idol giving you the truth. Not only that the idol you worship tell you how he was a sissy and what he did. Damon was a loss for words
ОтветитьShould have got an Emmy
ОтветитьHOW TO SURVIVE IN PRISON, You fake ass punks who bout to do time better take notes
ОтветитьWhen you realize you fûcked up and the O.G.s ain't proud of it.
ОтветитьThat's right ❤
ОтветитьEvery young black male needs to see this clip.
ОтветитьI wanted to see Roc thank Andre for what he did here.
ОтветитьWe need this show back on t.v. It's sorely needed this day a d age.
ОтветитьAndre was like Damon 2nd Father talking & Charles & Clifton Menace 2 Society & 1st Time Felon.
ОтветитьDemocrats were like, oh no, we can't let black America become like the rest of the nation.
ОтветитьI'm so glad I grew up watching Roc and other shows..
ОтветитьWhat you gonna do when you in the shower & all of a sudden & accidentally drop the soap?
ОтветитьThat kid is too stupid! In for a rude awakening! I was so mad when they cancelled this show. It was really good and real!
ОтветитьThere should a reboot of roc this show wasn't Martin.
ОтветитьThat was Cutty talking!
ОтветитьI loved this because the show didn't blow smoke. At this point Andre would love to be someone different, but knows he's too far gone. There is no fairytale ending for him. He's got nothing else but his drug empire. But it sounds like he lived by some sort of code in how he did business, because it sounded like he was disgusted that the kid used a drive by. And he saw a way to keep a young man from walking his path and sought to stop him. Powerful stuff.
ОтветитьKid sounds like Mike Tyson, but definitely couldn't fight like him. He was dead in the pen.
ОтветитьThis is the coldest scene in Black cinema history 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI like Roc as it was so cool & it was educational.
ОтветитьSad part is the Black culture (in general) thinks very much like that punk kid.
ОтветитьClifton Powell. One heck of an actor. And this is my all time favorite 'Clifton Powell moment'. Thanks for posting it.
ОтветитьDeAndre Thompson may have been a drug dealer, but when he's spending most of his youth in the penitentiary he knew the do's and don't to school that punk we need more people like him in this crazy world.
ОтветитьWhy The Guards Don't Come?.
ОтветитьWhere Roc couldn't reach him, Andre could, and DID.
ОтветитьHe was not so cocky when Andre came on the scene he kept his sorry ass quiet while schooling him on the real facts of life and times in prison.
ОтветитьIf you get out fool
ОтветитьSay it again pinky
ОтветитьDeep scene 🙏
Ответить"Do you know what it is like being me?"
That is a very powerful, rhetorical question that should be asked of young people who idolize and emulate criminals. They really do not know anything until they walked the path of a gangster. A gangster, despite being feared, actually walks in fear.
Now you see why they canceled this show. This show had a message that them cave dwellers didn't want
ОтветитьI'm glad he gave him a reality check.
Ответить🎬🎥💪🏿deep
ОтветитьExcellent scene! Sometimes the only ones who can get through to the young people are the people who've actually been where they're headed. Clifton Powell should have got some kind of award for that scene. I agree with the people who said Roc should have got more than three seasons. Again, excellent scene!
ОтветитьWhat if Andre was his dad in the fourth season
ОтветитьEven today these kids don't understand ,bullying ain't cool and we killing each other, it was bout no gun ,they ego was hurt that someone they thought was weak decided to defend himself ,so they used the excuse that he pulled a gun on them ,yeah he did so y'all would leave him alone
