Do you need to have wifi or is it part of what's in the cameras already?

I don't understand why you would put white cameras in your links for people to buy cameras. I would think that if people want a camera for security they would want a black one, because white ones are so easy to see. If you want a security camera, in many cases you would want it to be hard to see, such as a black one.

It's a $20 camera. What were you expecting? An 8K Sony camera inside?

Im curious why you would need to be checking your cameras for more than a minute at a time. Watching your dogs play? Is that seriously what he said?

I just got one to check on my dogs and I noticed it can do a quick live stream, that’s all I need to do. BUT can I hook this up in a hotel room when I have my dogs there to check on them? I am not sure IF this camera needs a seperate VPN type router to do so as hotels are on a FREE Wifi system. Not sure now?😮🤔

I’m interested in this as an option to replace using my old iPad with the free app Manything, which allows you to see a continuous live stream for free (Manything lets you record to a cloud with a paid subscription fyi). So it sounds like this Blink Mini will let you watch a live stream, but only for a short period of time then it times out. So if you just close out/ click off the camera and then click back, will it go live and let you watch live for another short period? I’ve got some coming in the mail today from Amazon, I’ll post my findings.

thanks i want to be able to monitor my pets so it sounds like this isnt the best for that.

How can I get the camera to work again if I change Gmail it will not let me update to the new Gmail so stop working.

I swear it only captures what I'm guessing is a ghost in my house. It'll give me a notification, but when I check, there's no one there. It happens all day. But when I walk pass it, it either doesn't see me or it has a delay. It's not worth the money!

Do I need a subscription with the wyze camera you suggest? Also does it do night color video? Thanks!

My boyfriend is on navy bootcamp no wiffi , once he connects the wiffi he’ll be able to see the old videos ? When I turned the camera on !?

The Blink is only $25 now and the Wyze is $35. So I got the Blink. I just want something to keep my room mates (mom) out of my room. The motion detection seems good and you can view up to 5 minutes of live feed at a time

Will this camera record through glass at night?

Will get the wis-camera in the future. I don't mind the notification it sends to me only because its covering a small amount of area for my pets

My son got me this camera for Christmas and I absolutely love them. I got all of them hooked up and connected in less than 20 min. And they do exactly what I need them to do.

I have 2 of these and I have no problem with this unit. I also have a life so I have other thing to do then sit around all day and watch what the dogs are doing all day. When I am at work or away from home and want to see what is going on 40 sec. at a time and not 15 I can do that. It will let me know when the time is almost up before it shuts off. My camera will stay on for 40 and not 15. I get a 10 sec. and just have to touch the screen to keep going. No big thing.. Great for when I was in the hospital last year I could see what was going on at home... Nice little camera.

How did you mount it in the ceiling?

Nowhere near long enough! I had to mount one extra low to reach he power point directly below where I put it.

I got mine on sale It was a two pack for $29.99 It says I have a 30-day trial for the cloud storage I believe so we'll see how that goes and I really do like it so far so good The notifications are very quick and then I can check the videos and then I can just turn on video recording I am going to not pay for the subscription but what will I be able to do without the subscription I believe it said it just has the cloud storage

I just got the blink mini. I was able to live steam for longer than 30 seconds I believe. Maybe the system has updated. Can you do another video

I have had my DLink "indoor" cameras outside for 9 years now.

Blink is only good for alerts, nothing else. It will be great to have a combination of an IP camera and Blink, the IP Camera to run motion detection and full activity recording while Blink alerts you for the detection as well. This way you get only a 3seconds video alert on your phone but the IP camera will record the person for the entire duration that they walk in and the time that they walk out.

It doesn’t live stream because you didn’t set up the settings mine live streams 24/7 or can be set on a timer for when I’m out

the mic sounds like crap!

How high up should I mount my blink mini camera for maximum performance?

I just run it in disarm mode I live stream all day

But who’s life is so boring that they want to livestream their own home?

I can't get Blink (Model BCM00300U) infrared/night vision to work, and don't even have those options in the app. They also appear to have zero customer service, so I'm thinking of taking it back and getting a a WYZE instead. I feel deceived.

Thank you I purchase two of these cameras for my elderly mother I wish I had a saw your video before I purchase them and they're exactly what you said you can't continuously watch the footage after so many seconds it cuts off I'm returning them today and getting the wyze cam

I just bought this and my question is, it seems to have a delayed camera detection even when directly in front of it. Can this be fixed somehow?
