As long as you enjoy it😂
ОтветитьWhen my sister in law was young, like 6 or 7 her mom took her to the phillipeans and she ate a LOT of balut. When she came home, she had a crazy growth spurt - like she grew so much in such a short time, and her family always wondered if it's the balut, because it must be super nutritious. I'm a little scared but I want to try it! I think I'm going to be adventurous and seek it out.
ОтветитьI've always wanted to try Balut. Unfortunately I live in America where most people have never heard of it so the only way for me to try it, in my area at least, is to have ducks and incubate the eggs myself. unfortunately, I don't know enough about the culture to try making some. lol
I've heard of some adding a little bit of vinigar in the same way you did the salt also.
I just learned about this today. Truly disgusting. Satanic. Should be illegal.
Ответитьcomfort food huh, i can hardly think of something more uncomfortable than eating a duck fetus. Why stop there, why not a cow fetus or something else extremely gross like some dog ovaries or something
ОтветитьThat looks delicious! I wonder where I can find one in Australia.
Ответитьwtf you are basically aborting a baby by eating it
ОтветитьTo me this is disgusting 🤢
ОтветитьWhere did you buy the balut from?
ОтветитьCullinary arts and music is my special interest and I love to travel all over the world trying new food and playing new instruments.
The first time I had Balut was in Manila back in 07. It had almost a custard type of consistency and tasted like a mix between duck and egg. There was a very slight gameyness to it, but not enough to be unpalatable. I like it with a light amount of salt and red pepper not enough to cover the flavor, but to enhance it. It's weird to us, but I'm sure spray cheese would be weird to them. I'm a huge believer in not knocking something until I try it for myself.
That is gross.
ОтветитьCalling something “tradition” doesn’t change the reality of it. Lots of terrible and horrific things have been “tradition” that millions of people loved, and critical examination of a practice should not be silenced by a false association with racism or insensitivity.
Boiling even unhatched animals alive is vile, immoral, and disgusting. If cultures wish to not have their practices viewed as such, then they should not have such practices.
Hey I’m kind of convinced this would be good to try. I always thought they were fermented and decomposed and really off tasting. Sounds pretty appealing except for the fact that you can see what you are eating. I’d be willing to give it a go.
ОтветитьI'll just have a salad
ОтветитьAbsolutely disgusting eating a fetus. Shameful.
ОтветитьOne of my local Philippine places had balut for sale, so i bought some. About to try it tonight.
ОтветитьFear factor had the contestants eat it
ОтветитьI’d try it but couldn’t get past eating the developed embryo 😩
Ответитьah yes, human made horrors beyond my comprehension
Ответитьsavages
Ответитьit’s like taking candy from a baby
ОтветитьYou’re one most of the sweetest sounding & most gentle lady ever 😭😭😭
Ответить🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьVietnamese use a mixture of salt, peper, lime and red chile in a small bowl and we would use of of this mixture to eat the Belut with.
ОтветитьI'm sorry but if veal wasn't bad enough, this is probably the most unethical way to eat chicken/eggs.
ОтветитьIf you eat eggs and poultry and you're grossed out, well, I don't know what to tell you.
Ответитьsomeone should sausage this
ОтветитьCame here just to say this shit is nasty
ОтветитьHer facial expressions make it seem like she’s being forced to pretend like she’s enjoying it
ОтветитьOne word .Disgusting
ОтветитьWTF! 🤮
ОтветитьWhile this is neat. I can’t eat da babies… I’m ok with eggs knowing they’re unfertilized.
I don’t think I could eat unborn baby animals 😥
🤢🤮
ОтветитьSo this is what an abortion tastes like?😮
Ответитьits so inhumane. its rather better to make chicken soup instead of burning alive chick.
ОтветитьI’m so curious to try this but I’m such an animal lover I don’t think I’d be able to bring myself to eat the duck. 😭 I’ve had salt cured duck eggs which are DELICIOUS but… 😂 God I wanna try it.
ОтветитьImagine one of these bad boys but made with Ostrich Egg 💀
ОтветитьNobody wants to hear you slurp
Ответить“Mmmm” subduing the morbid urge to freak out hahahahah omfg wow
ОтветитьCannibals and demonic creatures eat BABY Fetuses of humans.
This is a substitute for that… Duck fetuses.
Merely because it stems from a bygone, caveman-era culture, or is labelled as quote-unquote tradition, does not warrant our respect. Let us put an end to this abhorrent culture!
ОтветитьFilipinos also ate Magellan.
ОтветитьBalut tastes better with seasoned vinegar. just my opinion
ОтветитьThat was fkn vile. Idc what the rest of you say lol.
ОтветитьI love baby ducks and couldnt one to death 😣
ОтветитьHi Emmy! We raise Coturnix Quail, and have had requests from local customers for Quail Egg Balut. Your video definitely helped us understand the appeal of balut.
ОтветитьEver since I first heard of this I’ve always low key wanted to try one.
ОтветитьNo wonder why they eat dogs and cats. They’re less than human beings
