Stunning!!! Love it!!
ОтветитьOh Matt & Jesse, your fans have followed you for years, yes it is mainly horse content, but we are so invested in you we love to follow all the changes to your life. Like we loved the renovation videos on your last house, so I am sure we are going to enjoy these renovations even more! I am so happy that you have found your dream forever home and I cannot wait to follow your journey here! Lots of love to you both ❤
Ответить:) If possible, please make a riding video - how you ride on the horseback over the property and into the woods
ОтветитьHow exciting! I can't wait to see how it develops.
ОтветитьTo protect your horses and ponies, may I suggest a couple of Anatolian shepherds, or LGD (Livestock Guardian Dogs). They are amazing at keeping wolves at bay.
ОтветитьThey clearly come from money.
ОтветитьFantastic! This will be an ever evolving labor of love! It is a gorgeous property! The house is so beautiful and the barn is terrific! The surrounding property
Is perfect for your new life here! The horses are going to have a dreamy life !
So so Beautiful and do exciting for you both and us to follow your progress x
ОтветитьLove that house, and the property! I'm so glad you found your dream home, it is amazing. I will be following your progress, there's so much work to do, and I know you have impeccable taste, it will be so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьTo protect the ponies from predators consider getting a coupe of donkeys or lamas.
ОтветитьThis home is fantastic 🎉 congratulations 😊❤
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful piece of property. Can't wait to see all the improvements. I wouldn't want any hunting on the property either, but, you might want to keep the access to hunts just in case of wolves, coyotes, etc. I understand the threats because of being on my mom and Dad's old 41 acre property
ОтветитьHow beautiful !! Many blessings in your new home and on this journey!! I'm so excited to see how you grow this beautiful dream!
ОтветитьI didnt think it could get any better and them you mention the trails. Wow. What a dream!
ОтветитьTime to get a couple of livestock guardian dogs to protect the little dogs, ponies and horses 😊
Ответитьthe RAM looks great sitting in the field, but a Radiant Red SILVERADO would have been better.!! best of luck guys, ❤ from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
ОтветитьThis is an amazing property ❤
Your plans are beautiful!! I'm just curious, if you also plan an indoor arena for the winter 🤔
It’s a going to be a big 12 months, but the rewards will be worth it. What a dream property.
ОтветитьI would demo the barn
ОтветитьThis property is just magical. Love, love love it. Every secret room and feature ( the pump in the kitchen ). There is no mystery in any home post 1970’s. I’m lucky to have 2 mystery attic spaces in my home, it’s so much fun. Home builders take note!
ОтветитьPerfect!
ОтветитьWho is the blonde guy, is he ur brother?
ОтветитьYour new property is gorgeous 🥰🥰😍😍 yes it is going to be hard work but it will be 1000% worth it, I have a great feeling about this 💕😊
Ответить❤🥰💯👏🏻🇺🇸👍🙏👏🏻
ОтветитьThat old barn ceiling looks like a cathedral! The old tack room does look like a museum. I hope you can keep everything as intact as possible until you can build other accomodations
ОтветитьI am OBSESSED. With your new home, your horses (My fav. animal!) and you two. New subscriber excited to see more! xx
ОтветитьBodacious barn!😮😅
ОтветитьEvery best wish in your new home and much joy ❤
ОтветитьYou may be interested...in South Africa....floors were made of mud and cow droppings and polished by a particular type of new leaves...😅
ОтветитьCongratulations! So happy for you both. Best of luck with everything. And can't wait to see how you renovate everything and are able to bring all of your horses to their new home.
ОтветитьPut the small horses up every night, and you won't have issues with the wolves
ОтветитьIf you are really worried about the wolves look into getting livestock guardian dogs.
ОтветитьI agree with Jesse don't let the hunters come anymore. We used to own some land and had trouble keeping hunters off even with no trespassing signs. They would pur deer food down and when the deer got close to the stands they would blast them. Horrible! I guess unless you teally have too many deer and need them culled.
ОтветитьI found this information:
The Netherlands borders on Germany in the East, and in the East of the Netherlands there happens to be large (well, it’s the Netherlands: largelike) swathes of forest and fields, where we put wild/ wildish cattle to roam and keep this bit of nature in check. As there were no big enough predators, the herd grew, and extra feed had to be brought in as nature couldn’t maintain the growing herd. It was either that, or shooting animals every year (possibly they did both, I’m not entirely sure).
Then one day, a wolf wandered across the border. And another. And they sort of brought the family.
Funnily, wolves don’t know the difference between a farmer’s prized sheep and expendible free roaming cattle - also, the sheep are so much easier to get to, being closed in by fences, hardly putting up a fight: the fields are so many pantries to a wolf, and they probably didn’t believe their luck.
Much to the distress of farmers, who call for the wolves to be extinguished… again. So now there are basically two groups in the Netherlands: 1) calling for the wolves to be deported/ shot or otherwise gotten rid of (fear for farm animals, less rationally also fear of wolves attacking people) 2) calling for reinventing nature and farming in NL, and to adapt to the presence of wolves as a valuable link in the eco-chain.
If wolves get in the paddocks with the ponies, the ponies will have no chance at all. You may want to consider keeping the ponies near your house and stable for safety. Wolves make me nervous. I really hope they do not become a problem or attack your horses.
ОтветитьYou have a beautiful estate! ❤️. I love all the history that is still part of it. The mansion looks gorgeous. The stables will equire so much work but with both your visions, you will transform this into a real show place and horse paradise. Does the original farm have a name? That would be interesting to know. What will you name your new estate?
Ответитьlove your horse content and LOVE this
ОтветитьYou should have access to Anatolian Shepherd dogs. Large but not to thick. Great for farm protection. Just an idea. Beautiful location. Congratulations from Canada
ОтветитьI hope you keep all the antique items... Bridles, wheel barrel, etc.
ОтветитьHighly recommend getting livestock guardian dogs for the potential wolves. Then you can rest easy ❤
ОтветитьLove you sharing your life and beautiful horses with the world, the amazing care you give these beauties.
ОтветитьOh wow, I so loved this video about your new home and plans for the future.
Ответить50 ha is 123 acres, wow impressive and beautiful place. Enjoy as you are.
ОтветитьBeautiful 🤩

ОтветитьCan't wait to see what you 2 share with us. ❤
ОтветитьBat boxes don't forget bat boxes bat boxes are a must. Bat droppings and diseases that they carry can make you very sick your animals also if they're not taking care of well and they're like invading the barn you can make your horses sick so bad boxes are very important❤
ОтветитьOr get rid of them totally with somebody professional❤ the bats yes the bats are bothering me I went through it here in Florida it's horrific I got the boxes it wasn't good enough so I had to get a professional
ОтветитьHi guys.. beautiful eastate you have..if wilves are going to be a risk.. infest in a couple of donkeys to run in the pastures witth the horses.. donkeys will guard the herd and are fearles killers of wolves..
ОтветитьWonderful dreams & plans for the property !! I didn't know you young gents had the old barn.
