It doesn't help you gain threat though, it only increases threat against things you've already struck, this is for not losing threat, not gaining it.

Yeah I like barb tank could use. But they should make the dps move roar for barb tank as a taunt hits like are on mob and add some form of sheild barb tank might be more viable.

I miss Elven Battle and the defelct one. They really should bring those back.

All of them are absolute TRASH. 10% chance is NOTHING. I'd never give up my Stamina Regeneration enhancement for such trivial enchantments.

Terrible design wont be getting this for any tank i prefer survival from frost or nature than this it’s absolutely useless

Well if all the idiots playing DPS would wait 2 second for all tanks to establish threat all tank would be good regardless of item level or skill

If they remove the 10% chance to proc, and just give it a 100% up time where that’s the only thing needed to hold aggro, then you can have more paladin build variations for content. You could run 0 aggro abilities, and instead run dmg mitigating abilities. I see issues in trials while tank swapping with this enchant, so it’s only viable in solo tank scenarios.

the living hex aka briartwine armor enchant didnt have the cd before and did the max 50k dmg and that was my hit on dmg taken build for barb tank
i used to go full def and the enchants could maintain the agro with bilethorn or lightining as weapon enchant
too bad we no longer have diverse builds

I see it for random pugs that have dps that can't listen or foreign language

Who designs these items. I guess it could work ... instead of slotting powers to keep aggro, you slot powers for survival, start with the daily and then hope that this little ... thing... with a manticore ring and the new chitters fang do enough damage to keep you on top.

This enchant literally doesn't even make sense its such a terrible design, you proc it by getting hit, if you lose aggro you not getting attacked anymore so u can't proc it so it can't help you get aggro. That's some galaxy brain logic item design.

Thanks, Aragon for this info, as a Turtle (old school) Paladin Tank, I do not have many issues with holding threats.
But I will consider going for this enchant as a possible backup for the future...
ps., I really like to see that Cryptic is doing something for the Barbarian tanks.
