Sentirsi a disagio nel proprio corpo succede a tutti nella vita: a volte è un disagio importante a volte meno, ma anche le persone più avvenenti qualcosa di sé stesse lo cambierebbero. Questo è sicuramente un intervento fatto con grande preparazione, competenza e anche onestà : il miglioramento estetico è netto ma senza rincorrere assurdi ringiovanimenti che riducono a tristi maschere incongrue. Migliorarsi è possibile, tornare giovani no. Ma tante volte il problema arriva da fuori: giudichiamo, critichiamo, sentenziamo senza rispetto, empatia e comprensione, per poi versare lacrime di coccodrillo quando tocca a noi.
L’unica cosa che manca in questo bellissimo video è la parte in mezzo: cicatrici, occhi gonfi volto livido e tanto tanto dolore; non so se ne vale la pena. Non sono disposta a subire un vero e proprio intervento chirurgico che non sia strettamente necessario per motivi di salute. Resto la vecchia signora che sono: d’altronde le mie rughe me le sono guadagnate vivendo, mica le ho rubate.

I’m 69 years old and have no wrinkles, a smooth face, minimal drooping. I have always worn sun block and never tanned. I never smoked. I worked out. I had a low carb diet without sugar. Lifestyle is the key. Also….I have very attractive parents and grandparents. That helps.
But my poor little white, cellulite ridden thighs….thank you, mom.
