Thanks for the tips! I need to watch back catalogue of your channel, I have been running my etsy POD for 2 years now and made no profit 6 sales of which I lost money to etsy fees and sank so far $700 differential :/

It's hard to figure out where I am failing. I got reviews from etsy experts on etsy saying my SEO looked good, pictures products. Then what is it? Marketing? Really discouraged but I put a lot of work into this and I still don't want to give up on it.

Thanks for an informative video Jeff! I like the tip about checking google trends and listing items when the search results are high since we get a boost in new listings. I also like the tip about not designing too much in the holiday products since they will only wear it near the holiday (like Thanksgiving/Christmas) but go general since gifts can be anything.

I do have a question about the renewals though. I noticed in my stats, I sold an item 6 times and it says "6 renewals", does that mean I will get the .20 renewal 6 times?

I have a shop and have created various Halloween listings already, published already. Would it help me to deactivate them and reactivate them when the peak comes around to get that bump you metioned? Or would you advice me to just let them be active?

For etsy the simplest time to publish is 3 months and 1 week before the actual holiday. Each listing cost is for 3 months and renews thereafter. You want your listing to expire 1 week before the holiday because realistically ordering in the last week will have delivery issues (100% guaranteed).

All great info. Do you know how long expired listings are kept on our shop? I just wanted to make sure Etsy doesn't auto delete after a few months, or are they only deleted if we are the ones deleting it? 😃
