is Hutao and Yelan Worth PULLING in Genshin 3.4 Patch?

Look like editor forgot to including the rating for yelan because he recently took a 5g shot , but yelan is much more recommend especially if you are a new player

When looking for team comps for both sides of abyss, I kept noticing I wanted Yelan, so glad she came back

I used to mock yoimiya players and ig kokomi players on summoning on characters based on if they like the character. Now hu tao isn't even that great and after seeing summon if you're a hu tao simp, I finally regret all those I hurt. Now, back to grinding for staff of homeless.👻

TLDR:
Yelan: Recommended pull but not mandatory
Hu tao: Only pull if you are a fangirl who goes yahoo! If you're not a fangirl skip, build 2 hyperbloom teams and retire all other teams.

I'm really lucky. I got Hu Tao, Yelan, And their weapon plus off banner weapon in more or less than 170 pulls lmao.

As a hu tao main, I can agree that hu tao's value did decrease after the dendro release.

Abyss wise, hu tao will struggle in lower levels(especially if you don't have c1), unless you have a kazuha or sucrose on your team. But at higher levels, she still shines

I love hu tao's play style as much as I love keqing's


I hate them both. (Atleast one of them doesn't have absolutely fucking annoying idle dialogues)

Yelan is a huge upgrade to lots of teams. Hu Tao i don't have... And honestly I can use Diluc/C6 Yanfei who I both consider to be very fun, but I just don't like pyro. Vaping is not as fun.

For new player who wants Yelan, here are my thoughts:
1. She's a much lesser hydro applicator (locked behind cons) but higher in total dmg than XQ.
2. She improve your QoL (Over-world travel speed).
3. She needs a lot of energy.
4. C0 is enough.
5. She's mom.
6. She's waifu.
7. Armpit impact.
8. Bo0ba mole ftw.
9. Banger teaser.
10. Get C2 Nahida.

One thing that people usually forget, yelan is a bow character. You can trigger yelan and xinqiu ult with her basic attack. And because bow basic attack never really missed, their ult is also always connect with the enemy especially those flying enemies. I use yelan on field so many times because of this reason.

If you're hard to pronounce al haitham, just say it "al-hey-them". I'm not forcing you to correct your pronounce btw, I'm just giving tips on how to say his name.

Yelan have more agility compare to Xingqiu

I have 31 intertwined + 25k primos for yelan constellations, no need hutao cuz I already have her at c2r1. Aqua was the biggest pain last time cuz I lost every 50/50 to pjws, hoping to not get fked that badly this time. Wishing all the best of luck with your pulls!

Yelan improves the account more than Hu tao and Yelan is the easiest character to build, from the ones that do damage at least.

The question is absurd and the answer is no one should NOT pull for Yelan, not pulling for Yelan must be illegal. The only reason anyone would tell you "skip" Yelan is to fuck up your account. Omega Whales can do whatever they want, that's different. Or if you are playing the game ignoring characters and abyss and pulling for how "nice" look to you Dehya as a F2P, which means no wishes for Yelan, then that is a MISTAKE, you might be better playing some other game if that is how you play, but if you insist it is still legal, sadly. Besides the jokes, you want to improve your account, not to make it worse, not pulling for Yelan makes it worse, you waste resources and a valuable opportunity, and some people want you to do that so they feel better and superior, this behavior exists in all online games, it's a weird psychological shit companies are milking.

Im currently torn between pulling for Haitam vs C1 Hu tao, I also want to try for c2 Yelan but thats wishful thinking, but between Haitam and c1 Hu Tao, from meta pov, who' s better?

As someone without Yelan, I've never been put in a situation where I thought "this would be a whole lot easier if I had Yelan". This is not to say that she isn't a good unit but I wouldn't say she's a must pull unless you somehow don't have C6 Xingqiu. And even then, I would still say it's better to try to get C6 Xingqiu.

I got Yelan in the previous banner and honestly... I never use her. I find her to be completely unnecessary. Not only I disliked her to begin with (first time I pulled JUST for meta), I find other characters to bring me way more value than she does. At the end of the day, she´s kinda glued to XQ.

To me, she feels like a luxury character for whales. Because she does get way too strong at whale levels of investment. But for most low spenders she ´s just like pulling a C7 Xinqiu. Opens 0 new teams, and it is very easily replaceable in most of them too.

While most people highly recommend to get Yelan... I personally believe other characters like Nahida, Kazuha, Raiden, Tartaglia, Kokomi.... and many more will probably bring you way more value than she does. Specially Nahida, if you´re a meta slave and don´t have her, you´re doing it wrong. Skip these banners and get Nahida.

as someone who got yelan on her release banner she’s so amazing. is she a must pull? no. is she extremely worth it if you do pull? YES. yelan is by far one of my favorite units, so much so I got her c6. but at the end of the day it’s your account, if you don’t wanna pull for her don’t.

Newer players should pull for support characters like kazuha and yelan. For that reason, I recommend yelan highly because she'll be good for as long as genshin exists. Very high value for primos when it comes to damage, style, fun factor, and overworld exploration. Also great at turning birds into drumsticks, even better than ganyu imo because there's no charge time after 5 seconds

I can't play HT properly because my fps sucks so it's an absolute pain the ass doing her jump cancels. So really only pull her if your device can play at constant 60 fps.

I have Aya Toes in my Sing Shoes but I'm still pulling Yelan. Hydro is just too good right now.
