How Nintendo Failed Super Mario 35

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't miss Mario 35. And part of it was because Nintendo warned me ahead of time that it would be available for a limited time. But I also...just didn't enjoy it that much. It just felt random to me. And seeing the same levels over and over again, while seeing NONE of the late game levels... That just straight up bored me.

nintendo getting rid of this mario 35 and 3d all stars is by far one of the dumbest decisions they have ever made. i want to play 35 again but nintendo hates its fans. i don't know why they would do this.

I used to get bored at 1-1 but then I utilized it as a challenge stage to see how much ground I cover with each big jump I end up doing while running and finishing within 20 seconds.

I was PISSED when they removed this game. I don't understand why you would remove a popular game from the shop that brought people to the payed service. I canceled my subscription after they removed it.

When Super Mario Bros. first came out, I called Lakitu a cloud with a St. Patrick's Day hat on. I had no idea what it was until I read the manual. Now I just call it "$%&# you!!"

They literally stole the concept from Mario Royale, a game they DMCA'ed twice, even when it didn't break copyright. STOP GIVING THEM CREDIT FOR IT.

I feel you when you say "I will play some more, because it's an experience you can't find somewhere else" nintendo kinda knows how to make you play because it's uniqueness but they know about it and do planned it in a "whatever" way since even if it have flaws people will still play it

It always feels strange to me when people say super mario bros. 1-1 is easy. I honestly find it harder and more frustrating than hollow knight. Maybe I never got used to the whole jumping on enemies thing, or maybe it's mario's physics.

i never really realised just how much you can do with some super mario bros footage, a greenscreen, and chroma key. the game's palette lets you just do whatever the hell you want while editing

They should’ve just made it a speed run race. But you have to complete all of the levels, you get to start from any level you decide, and you can send enemies to slow your opponents down, the wheel can give better items to those trailing similar to kart. Then give each player three lives before they r eliminated,

I want to add one (probably rare) complaint I had about the game... it wasn't good for new people. I'm one of those people that got a switch speficially for the animal crossing hype. When I saw that Mario was free, I was super excited to learn to play it, only to be drastically disappointed that it was a battle royal game that I was always in the first five knocked out.
So while this game was probably fun for those good at video games and used to mario, it didn't help anyone wanting to try it out for the first time.

Mario 35 was a supremrly balanced game imo I loved the whole experience. What he says in this video is true but I learned to play this game and got a ton of wins consistently. My average finish was 5 at the end so you just have to adapt

In my opinion they also failed smm2 everyone thought Nintendo would support it for a while the last update was in March of 2020 less then half a year before they stopped giving new content I’m just sad they put down the game after only a few months and sure the world maker is cool but like I would’ve liked if they had kept updating it

So not only did nintendo took down that guys game but they stole his idea and made their own game with said idea and then made it playable for six fucking months. Nintendo, who hurt you?
