I just watched this movie I know I’m late but lack of good science fiction movies lately brought me here and pro tip if you plan to watch this movie just skip the first 20 min it’s all boring background story you don’t need to enjoy the rest of the movie and the main points you would get out of the fist 20 min are explained to you several more times throughout the movie so just skip the first 20 min and it’s worth a watch your welcome

THat was GOOD! Where is some more of this kind of thing? F%%% CG, the practical effects and monsters made the difference. That was cool and a good concept, as well as the ending. It's Storm Vision Entertainment is the produciton studio, and the director is Shane Abbess, and it's an Australian movie.

Not an outstandingly great movie but def a watchable flic, maybe even a 2nd time. Creature's a bit corny but the sci-fi is good enough to not lose interest.

I watched this movie in Hulu. I wouldn't buy this movie for a penny. The ending made no sense. I don't understand how the movie was named The Osiris Child unless there is another movie after it to explain it. The movie ended as if it was a long trailer for something else.

Reminds me of myself when I learned to shot a gun at 10 to 11 years old becoz my father allowed me to try.

Whoever edited the trailer did a fine job, because it's a far sight better than the actual film. Quite average.

Really fucking good film, one of the best sci-fi films I’ve seen in a long time.

A surprisingly good beginning that quickly becomes a mixed bag, ultimately this film was a horrible experience for me, nothing worse than seeing a film that gets so much right be brought down by a few key people...I'm not sure if I have ever seen such exemplary potential be so thoroughly squandered.

Writing : 0.5/5 The writers need to get off the drugs, if they aren't on drugs then maybe they should be. Seriously though, the base concept is good and parts of the naritive are very good whereas other parts are equally bad. The script has many technical problems but all of them put together aren't as bad as the exploding nuclear reactor trope used as the ticking clock of the overarching naritive, as most people living in developed countries would know nuclear reactors are not bombs, they don't explode like bombs they “melt down”, FFS the term “melt down” was in the film and yet they still described it as life ending explosion...the most surprising aspect is that no one corrected it, writers, actors, everyone on set and in editing...it could have been changed to reactor and left it to our imagination...With that level of misinformation and ignorance it is no surprise that Australians don't have nuclear power...

Directing : 1/5
The Director needs to get off the drugs and if they aren't on drugs then maybe they need to be. But seriously, unintuitive shots, weird angles and zoom, the result is a serious film that sometimes looks like it was shot by the directors of the Power Rangers (TV episode).

Dialect Coaching : 0/5 It seems like they didn’t have a dialect coach but i could be wrong. Nontheless, Some of the worst accents I have ever heard, it wasn't that any individual dialect was that bad but the constantly changing nature of the accents was a immersion killer. Suffice to say that 'that' Dialect Couch might have trouble getting work in the future...

Looks interesting. "Science Fiction Volume One" sounds absolutely horrible though.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! New Star Wars, Elysium and even Alien are overshadowed with this one. What a story telling, action pace, twist and play👌👍👍👍. More movies like this. Don't care about CGI. All the new movies got soft nowdays but this one didn't ! Who said you need big budget and crazy advertising, this one will be remembered.

Just watched it and its a great syfy movie, good acting, good effects.

I actually enjoyed it.. the actors were good and good looking... they spent some money on the ships. and it had actual real monsters in it... very good... i give it a thumbs up...
