Japan did this in the 1980s. Many Japanese cars looked like the front end of one Leyland car and the back end of another. A bit strange but take the badges off and it was easy to miss identify. China is just doing the same thing now but they are rubbish at combustion engine technology. Many people are raving about Chinese Evs. I wonder how long their electric motors will last?
