Warum haut der Typ Dübel ins Holz?!

PROBLEM with the BC500 camera! Only the centre portion of the image is sharp. 2/3 of the image roughly. I had a long, long, very long exchange with synology support, they contacted even the camera OEM etc but no solution provided yet. They said it would need a firmware update... (huh?!) I have years of experience with all sorts of cams but this one is the worst ever. Even cheap $20 chinese cams are sharper. I post this info to warn people NOT to buy at the Synology webshop. You do not have the ability to return without trouble. Buy this wre you CAN get support.

Would have been an instant buy for the new build. But, where do you put the huge connector though when you've got the network cable coming out the facade through a 19mm pipe? It ain't gonna fit in the pipe nor below the camera in the base. The cable should've been very short so that you can terminate right below it or versions with various cable lenghts (+10m) so that you can terminate at the switch/patch panel. Or will there be a wall mount coming too, like Dahua's where you can terminate inside? A phat junction box between the camera and the facade/overhang is not a good look.

Do you need camera licenses on the Synology?

Ähm... Why u use a dowel for a wooden board? A Screw alone is enough... 😂
