No Genie? No Problem! How to Do Everything at Animal Kingdom Without Fancy Perks at Disney World

Probably the best YT channel for first-time visitors like me and my husband, specially being from another country. Can't tell you how useful your tips have been for us and how much time we feel we're saving on our 1 year anniversary trip. Thanks a lot. Will they allow rider swap if you get in a line right before close? Or if you have someone waiting with the kids outside the ride, will they make them move to the front gate when the park closes or will they let them wait for you to get off the ride?

Our last full day will of our holiday in October will be a Sunday and we wanted to do AK but it's saying Saturday is a better day crowd wise. Is there much difference between Saturday and Sundays usually?

Love the tip and ideas, but hate all the music. With the rides we want to hear the rides not the funky music!! Sometimes the music is too loud when you are taking also.

Just to say we used this strategy yesterday. Our third day at the parks after MK & HS the day before where we used Genie+ using your tips (which were so useful thankyou!) our kids hit the jet lag wall at 1pm and wanted to go home but we had done 3/4 of that park and had lunch by that point. So useful, Thankyou! We did Everest twice in 15 mins first thing this morning, and then were a walk on for kali river rapids.

I've binged a few of your video's. All I can say is, everyone of them is top notch. I've learned something new in every video. We are planning a trip to WDW next august with our family of 14. I've heard Disney may change Genie+ to making ride reservations online. I hated that before, but I'm hoping if it changes, you'll do more videos on how to plan in advance. Thanks for all you do.

We did safari first thing in the morning and the giraffes weren’t out! Other than that, it was a fun safari

Last week, rope droppers put avatar up to. 75 minute wait straight off the bat! We walked onto to Navi river Journey and even had our own boat 🤩

I followed this itinerary and it worked out perfectly! We even missed rope drop by abiut 10 mins but still worked out! We saw everything and even got to double up on a few rides! It was a perfect day thanks to this video!

Will be going on my first WDW trip in the beginning of JUne. I'm so excited and watching your videos just makes me more excited. I find them so usefeul and definitely plan to use a lot of your tips.

I will be staying at a affiliated hotel, so I plan of taking advantage of early enter, and from research I have done, I don't plan on getting genie+ for this park.
This is how I was planning on using my early entry: Head to Flight of Passage (if my niece can handle it), then Na'vi if time allows, then to the Safri (cause I've read mooning is the best time to see the animals). After that we are open to whatever attractions my family and I want to do.



Does that sound reasonable?

Rob, another fabulous video! I wish we would have done this on our animal kingdom day, we waited an hour for mountain everest for an hour. We didnt get genie plus for every park, because with a party of 6 it gets very expensive. I saw it said $35 for easter day when you were recording. Wow, I can't believe it got that expensive, and stayed there for several days!! I love these no genie no problem videos, definitely helps please with families as the cost just adds up.

You should really do like a perfect day in the rain episode or something. Teach us the tips and tricks of dealing with the rain in the parks and hotels etc.

Can you still finish all the main rides and shows if not doing rope drop but genie+? This is the park after a night out late for late entry … so AK will be the following day and there’s no way we could get up at early entry or rope drop after doing late entry the night before… will we still complete enough or should I move it? We will be getting back to the hotel possibly 1-2am night prior to Ak. So we plan on being at AK 10-11am… but want to finish Navi , River rapids, safari and maybe 1 show like lion king..

Hi Rob! How long does it take to walk the animal trails at this park? Also do you know if the paper you draw on at the Animation Experience fits in a standard folder? My child wants to frame it when we get home and we would like to avoid getting it wrinkled while we’re at the park. Thanks!

We’re at animal kingdom in late June when the opening times will be 9-7. Do you think this would be possible then? I think you’re opening times were 8-8?
